  4. I'm not sure whether my faithful assistant ZKZ Kitten will be around to help this week, since she's been frollicking with the fairies in Copenhagen. 5. They'll have to get past the swarm of Jonsson-adoring Bees already after my blood to get to me.
  6. Agreed. It's the all-round professionalism of the Rickardsson set-up that is head and shoulders above the rest. There are others around with a broadly similar level of natural talent, maybe a couple with more, but no one comes close to the professionalism of TR. He's been outstanding in the GPs this season. Will be interesting to see how Ales Dryml gets on in Prague. If he's got his right head on, he could be among the points. He's having an outstanding season.
  7. And GMs steal the show in Denmark as well. All 4 finalists powered by GM and the fancied Jawa runners again looking pedestrian. It looks like Leigh Adams could be blaming the tuner, with rumours that the recently recruited super-tuner that would provide the "missing link" is departing his team.
  8. You wasted time with the italics HenryW. That's how I beat you. No fancy stuff.
  9. Surely the FIM machine examiner would pick up on an "oversize" engine?
  10. The question is, was that sarcastic, or poor spelling?
  11. I'd guess it was the fairies and ZKZ Kitten. I know she was going to the GP with the fairies. Lets hope they had a great time and that the Kitten didn't get too excited when Lee Richardson won the 1st heat.
  12. Okay, of all the over-blown, over-the-top things that Steve Shovlar has ever written on these forums, I'd guess that ranks with the best of them. This GP was far from "fantastic".
  13. One thing is becoming increasingly clear and that is, that if there's to be a British rider in the series next season, it'll be an act of charity by BSI and the FIM.
  14. And with his Bydgoszcz "banker" still to come, there's a chance Gollob will still be in the top 8 come season end. Making the final in this system has a disproportionate effect. Look at Hampel, he's missed 2 GPs but is there or thereabouts. If you get to a final it catapults you up the order and a win is even better. If he can get his usual 25 points at Bydgoszcz that should be good enough for TG.
  15. Well, no one pays much attention, but here are my thoughts about tonight's GPers and their performances: L Adams: Pretty dreadful really. Looks like the new – allegedly heading for the exit – super-tuner hasn’t worked the magic expected. H Andersen: Made the semis, but will be disappointed with the manner of his exit. T Chrzanowski: Hasn’t disgraced himself in the GPs this season, but was pretty woeful tonight. J Crump: Has looked off the pace all season. Was very hard on young Hampel and made a huge error in picking gate 3 in the semi. He’s out of the running for the title now and needs to make changes. T Gollob: Dire. J Hampel: He rode well enough and deserved his place in the semis. G Hancock: A welcome return to GP form for Hancock. Apart from a 1st race duck, he was superb all night. Might have been excluded when he clashed with Nicki P, but wasn’t. N K Iversen: Was always in the middle of the action. Might have made the semis, but didn’t. His time will come. Was certainly entertaining, if a little erratic. A Jonsson: Made the semis. A Lindback: Another super GP display from the young fellow. And no real start line calamities, in spite of malfunctioning tapes. Finished 3rd and deserved it. S Nicholls: A little unlucky, but pretty hopeless. B Pedersen: Disappointing in Wroclaw, good in Eskilstuna, disappointing in Krsko, good in Cardiff and now disappointing in Copenhagen. Being Danish he’ll be disappointed, but he didn’t ride at all well tonight. Should console himself with the prospect of his run continuing with a good showing in the “Golden City”. N Pedersen: Will be hugely disappointed with a last in the final. L Richardson: Probably his best GP showing of the season, but it just isn’t good enough. I can’t see him being around next year. T Rickardsson: Fantastic, awesome, amazing, brilliant and lots of other words I can’t think of. R Sullivan: Pretty hopeless, really. The track was a bit of a lottery and the racing pretty dreary and the starting gate fiasco plain embarrassing.
  16. The only real difference between last year and this year, is that you get hammered for not making the finals. You fight to make the semis, but if you go out in the semis, you get nothing. That HAS to be addressed.
  17. I tell you what homestraight, the swarm of Jonsson-worshipping Bees have been bad enough. I don't need Czechs bouncing on my head.
  18. Well, TR's definitely going to be champ. And I'd say that increases the chances of an Elite League return in 2006. I can see the guy wanting to parade around the Elite League as champ again.
  19. And have a load of Jawa-worshipping Czechs baying for my blood?
  20. If it's TNT doing the updates, he's probably got it wrong anyway. Spends too much time thinking about how he can construct a monument to his cleverness than in getting the results right.
  21. That's just fantastic. But it's almost embarrassing how much better the guy is than everyone else. You can only admire TR. What a fantastic rider. And what a worthy champ. It's all over really. Congratulations on No 6 TR.
  22. I could be wrong, but I think this is another all-GM final. Rickardsson, Lindback, Nicki P and Hancock all GM powered. The Jawa guys are fighting a losing battle.
  23. Well done to young Lindback. A super showing. But why'd Crump pick gate 3? If it's still a contest for the title, it's a contest between Nicki P and TR. Crump's hopes are dying in the roadside.
