  1. Thank you Nicki P. I'm still in the competition and have scored well tonight thanks to the controversial one. 60 x 3 + 60 + 20 = 260 points. Splendid.
  2. I agree, it's a bit of a lottery due to the track. But the usual suspects are there and I'd fancy one of them to take it. An incident on the 1st turn could wipe out someone's hopes though. Let's hope Lindback doesn't pull his kerb stunt in the semis.
  3. Shame everyone else was watching Sam Ermolenko winning elsewhere. TR won his first, I believe, in 1994.
  4. Would the rear wheels of the bikes not just spin when they went over the recumbent "steel" motocross starts?
  5. Nicholls unfortunate that the race wasn't stopped. Crump very hard on Hampel, but, in fairness, Hampel did run too wide on the 3rd and 4th bends. My over-riding opinion is that, with this track surface, it's a lottery.
  6. BP's sequence this season is poor GP (Wroclaw), good GP (Eskilstuna), poor GP (Krsko), good GP (Cardiff) and, finally, it's looking like poor GP (Copenhagen). But he's not the only Dane struggling. Hans Andersen isn't doing too well either.
  7. BP was unlucky there. But at least TG looked competitive in regards to speed. Just doesn't look like he thinks much of the track. And neither do I to be honest. It looks awfully tricky out there.
  8. Think Iversen's got to go for that one. A bit harsh on BP though. He looked to have it in the bag.
  9. Adams is looking pretty woeful again. And again it's GM riders all the way. The Jawa guys are looking nowhere near as fast.
  10. The configuration of this track looks awfully strange. It looked like Hampel got around the 1st and 2nd bends without turning his handlebars. It was a super corner by the guy.
  11. All 4 back seems fair enough to me, but if push comes to shove and you want a rider out, I'd say Hancock had to go. TG was a bit pathetic in Ht 5.
  12. And TG looks slow again. But he made a clever move on the 1st bend. A faster rider would have left Nicki P for road kill. But Nicki P seems to have magnets in his bike that attract him to the fence on the 1st and 2nd bends.
  13. Is that a Swindon 5-1 over Poole? It looked like it to me. A super effort from Richardson. And Adams did well to come past BP.
  14. Good to hear. But Ht 1 doesn't inspire much confidence. Starting gate malfunction and the riders strung out.
  15. How is Mrs Shovlar these days? I remember she was taken ill before the British Grand Prix. I hope everything is okay these days? Looking for a Gollob win and hoping for a good GP.
  16. You sure the Foxhall Heath air fence could stand up to a season of Lindback?
  17. It's a bit late, I know, but The Independent has a "48 Hours in" feature on Copenhagen in it's travel supplement today.
  18. Always though Galvin was a useful enough rider, but that season Hackney had in the British League really helped him a lot. He came back down to the National League a transformed rider in my view.
  19. It's a temporary track, like Cardiff. So, I'd say no one rides it that regularly. And Crump's won the last couple of GPs held there.
  20. That's interesting. I don't think many Belle Vue supporters would have complaints about Crump's league performances for the Aces last season.
  21. His league form for Tarnow in Poland is hardly inspiring. Maybe they'll want rid of him come next season. He's almost a full point behind T Gollob in the Tarnow averages.
  22. That discussion is all over the place. TR doesn't necessarily have to miss out on the semis for the others to stand a chance. You get nothing for riding in the semis. He's just got to miss out on the finals. If he scores, say 8 and qualifies for the semis in Copenhagen, but misses out on a final that Crump wins, it gets a whole lot tighter.
