  1. I would think so, since Rajmund is probably at the track.
  2. No official speedway in Poland today, young fellow. I could ask my chum Rajmund what it means.
  3. It's between the Germans and the Magyars - come on little Magosi.
  4. I wonder if scarletrider is related to the screaming imbecile?
  5. Joke Billy, I think you mean. And it's not getting any better for the Yanks - just 6 points after 15 heats. But little Norbert Magosi scoring well for the Hungarians.
  6. As Sam Ermolenko keeps saying, Holta is such a slight fellow that once he gets some fresh air in front of him, his machine isn't carrying an awful lot of weight. But well done to the fellow - now, technically, I suppose, the second Pole to win a Grand Prix.
  7. He's not doing well. In fact, the United States being humiliated, which is sad to see.
  8. That remains to be seen. Be hard for the powers that be to drop Holta if he finishes outside of the top eight, having won a Grand Prix. And then we'll see who emerges from the qualifying process. The scenario could arise where it's hard to shoehorn to no-hopers into the circus just because they're British. Don't forget TWO Grand Prix wins for Loram.
  9. You are joking, aren't you? According to my sums, the former British champion has had SIXTY attempts to win a Grand Prix and hasn't come close. In fact, I think he's only made SEVEN finals in all that time. Is that a record to be proud of? If he was any nationality other than British he'd be lucky to have thirty GPs to his name.
  10. You really think that's why the former British champion doesn't enter the qualifiers? I think it is more to do with fear that he'll miss out on the top eight, miss out in the qualifiers and that'll make it harder for BSI to give him a nomination.
  11. Always someone willing to defend the former British champion. If it had been a proper referee, instead of Tony Steele, the first running of that race would've been allowed to continue - the only rider inconvenienced at the start was the former British champion, who was doing the moving at the line.
  12. What I want to know is why the hell the cretin Pearson mentions unSteady during every Grand Prix?
  13. Agreed. Cardiff is invariably an abortion that ruts up. It's usually not a lot different to Ullevi last night. The only difference, as Sam Ermolenko pointed out, is that on a 416 metre track the speeds are much higher than around a track the size of Cardiff.
  14. Ah the screaming imbecile - always good when he shows everyone what a cretin he really is.
  15. How may extra World championships (or various kinds) would he have got if he hadn't crossed Olsen?
  16. More likely that IMG will end up sleeping with the fishes if they try anything against Olsen.
  17. Probably you, if you go down to the pits and try and tell him some "home truths" - you don't mess with Ole Olsen. He never forgives and he never forgets.
  18. Let's be realistic, Olsen's going nowhere - the powers that be are afraid of him.
  19. By the way, I think you'll find Hans Andersen's total is 28 and not 27: http://www.speedwayworld.tv/en/sgpchamp08 Why not just give it up?
  20. Which is what I've been saying for long enough. It does them no favours at all. If they want to be in the GPs then let them qualify. But the former British champion never even bothers to enter the qualification process.
  21. Oh I think they'll approve anyone, as long as it's not the nominator's Aunt Irene.
  22. The only decent temporary track I can recall was Copenhagen last year. Other than that, they're just a lottery, which is why Harris was able to win at Cardiff last year. Usually you get away with it because the tracks are smaller, but this one was 416 metres, which means a lot of speed.
  23. Hans Andersen may have been a "wild card" in Sweden (Scandinavian Grand Prix) in 2006, while Zagar was a "wild card" in Italy a year earlier. Rune Holta was also a "wild card" for the Scandinavian Grand Prix in 2005, in spite of being a Norwegian Pole.
