I used to enjoy when Radio Sheffield covered our trips to Hull on a Wednesday evening, it would not be every heat but they would check in and you would get one live heat while they catch you up on what had been missed ! I think even just an online radio commentary of an away meeting that most fans can't make would be great to offer or like Ice Hockey a live stream you pay x amount for ! I agree with what has said before, Speedway needs to offer more and online/social media is the way to go ! Attendances are great at Ice Hockey even with live streams because it is affordable and a good nights entertainment, they have struck the perfect balance and crowds are high around the country. Periscope should be used by clubs to offer rider interviews before meetings and a look in on pits !

Richard Hall around Owlerton can be unbeatable and if he has his head screwed on will be a trump card at reserve, don't write him off ! Ben Wilson is a top NL rider but has never pushed on in PL and same for Richard but I think Richard is more capable than Ben of doing that.

Good to see Ben Wilson back at Stoke where it went so well for him last time !

Now team is complete bring on the 2016 season, if things click and stay injury free then we should be unbeatable at home which is always a good way to start when it comes to challenging at the top.

That release was more than likely drafted up before 5th rider was confirmed, just forgot to change it to 5.

Great to have Steady back for 2016, he will be as fit as ever because he did not try to rush back for end of season and has been working on his fitness for months already, his machinery is always top notch so have no doubt Simon Stead will still be one of the main men in PL. As for this team so far it has to be one of the most exciting looking teams in Premier League and to make it better all local lads so far, it is a shame Ashley Birks is taking a year out. Maybe 2017 we will have a full team of local lads !

At home we will be unbeatable with team been built so far, another rider who will add to his starting average which is vital. Welcome back Richard Hall 👍

I think promotion will have to build side without Sissis and of course have him in reserve in case our injury curse hits again. I hope Simon Stead can speed up his decision because if we wait on him and he says no then other heatleaders may have already been snapped up. Great news that Garrity is back and pretty sure he will be challenging for that number 1 spot !

I could easily subscribe again but is 20 pound a month worth it for a couple of good GP's and 10 average/boring ones. If they have offered good money that is good for GP series and riders get more money then bonus as they deserve it. Eurosport would have been best option overall as more people have access to it but money talks these days.

Don't matter what day of week it is unless promoters do their jobs and promote, also need to work alongside the referee to keep meetings moving so we are not stood around like idiots.

Exactly, would love to see Proctor back in for 2016 but is it worth risking the wait and if somehow does not qualify find ourselves short on a replacement when everyone else signed up.

Big risk on their part and can understand why we have not taken that risk because do not want to get stuck in a similar situation this winter like last scrapping around to find a replacement. No guarantee he will qualify, what if he has a crash in opening race of state championship. I hope he does qualify but I have no problem us not signing him as it is a risk and I am sure promotion want a 100% 1-7 signed up not 1 or 2 gambles.

I always found Ken Wrench dull as dishwater, something good would happen but would still be boring on mic. To most of us Speedway fans we would still go if there was no presentation as we are there to watch hopefully14 mad men race bikes with no brakes but when you are trying to get new fans things have to be slick and well presented because Speedway is competing against many other activities not just sport events/teams. Money is tight these days so speedway promoters make people want to come and give you there hard earned cash or just cease to exist.

Could the fact that shops and business operate a lot longer hours than they used to a decade or 2 ago, more 24 hour shops than ever and just generally longer opening hours which means either people can't go because working or got a very early next morning. The product on offer does need to improve but I think the change in working hours could also be included as a factor for the drop in crowds, I bet football crowds would be bigger around country as well because it is hard to get a good Monday to Friday 9-5 job anymore, pretty much everything is shift work and weekends etc

Totally agree, the sport from top to bottom in this country needs a radical way forward. It is just another year of the same crap and promoters crying in middle of season because they are getting low crowds yet again and may cease to exist.

Agreed, if we are serious about a title challenge then it is time to move on. Andre Compton will always be one of best riders i have seen race around Owlerton though and always looked after younger riders better than anyone.

Wont be old enough until late on in season. If i was promotion though i would set Prowlers back up in NL this season and get the lad signed up asap.

I don't think there are two reserve races just that heat 2 and 4 are protected for the number 7 riders so they go up against each other twice.

How about a ban on changing stuff on bike when a re-run is ordered ? Woffy took advantage in British Final this year.

It is but he should also be encouraged to get on with it also, requires everyone to work together for the benefit of speedway and the paying public. Also pit gate remains closed unless a crash happens, if it is a unsatifastory start get back to tapes and crack on.

I would like to see a Meeting time limit rule ... A meeting should take no longer than 1 Hour 30 Minutes, Financial penalties will be issued to the hosting club unless they can provide evidence why the meeting ran over which would only be Accidents which require Air Fence to be fixed and rider treatment/ Hospital trip. Hopefully this sort of rule would encourage everyone to crack on with meetings.

Great news that Josh Bates will be back as he is only going to get better ! But even better news that they are looking at getting the training track back open because I have said for years that when that closed was when we started to struggle, New young riders went elsewhere and teams overtook us and if we bring the Prowlers back into National League then no more blank Thursdays can only be a good thing.

They complain about low crowds which means they have to promote more and be more radical in changes they make in every aspect, tinkering with odd thing each year will not get fans back on the terraces. Meetings dragging on and on is the main issue for me, no enjoyment just standing about and riders need to help on that also ! Pit gate should not reopen until end of heat, unsatisfactory start should be just straight back to tapes. Accidents and Air Fence delays are acceptable but keep fans informed all the time !

Well first details of AGM to be released at 1pm, no doubt the sport is in its best shape ever and nothing much had to be changed !
