  1. Because at this point in time he doesn't have the scoring power of Mark Riss. Him being good in the future is no benefit to us.
  2. Earlier in the thread - it says sold.
  3. I think it was actually 5 riders. We stated the match using rider replacement, and then lost Wayne Carter in heat 1. It was a fantastic performance by Tim Sugar. Even though Carter was injured he still had to 'have' 3 rides under the then rules. I think a reserve was used to cover 1 of carters rides but he still had 1 ride left and a bunch of us very seasoned Wolves fans just could not figure where his last ride was going to be. Then the light-bulb moment, he gave Carter a rider replacement ride! Genius.
  4. Yes I think that was at the pre-season talk-in.
  5. I think the referee's opinion was that Shanes was already on his way down when Greaves ran into him. Not necessarily my opinion though ! All depends upon from where you saw it I think.
  6. [quote name="stevebrum" post="2995107" timestamp="150032959 dreadful comment to make Steve. He clipped Hans back wheel pure and simple. Howarth irreplaceable by reserves whilst Starke gets 2 extra rides for a Poole's weakest rider. Huge swing. I'm afraid you've got the wrong end of the stick, like I nearly did, SS is referring to Kasprzak not Howarth.
  7. I don't think that's a worry for Gavan or anybody else to be honest whilst you've got Kasprzak in the team.
  8. Poole lucky, in the right place at the right time two matches running.
  9. Bright, sunny and warm here in Wolverhampton but not excessively warm. Track will need watering. Wolves only need a 1 point win to get all 3 league points. Poole need to lose by 6 or less and I don't think they will get that point. Poole have th advantage at reserve, but Wolves should have the advantage in the1-5. Interesting that Adams has switched Masters and Thorssell in the team line-up, I wonder what his thinking is ?
  10. It isn't Porky at the moment. He's a bit marmite really. However one plus point for him is that he always welcomes the away fans and wishes them a safe journey home.
  11. I have to apologise, and do so profusely. It was a Gater1 post on this thread that had stuck in my mind.
  12. No I'm not, you said the Poole reserves will have the wolves reserves on toast on another thread.
  13. Line-up :- Lindgren,Howarth,Schlein,Masters,Thorsell,Clegg, Greaves Kasprzak,Lahti,Holder, Worral, Andersen,Starke,Shanes Minor change for Wolves with Masters and Thorssell changing places for the first time this season I believe.Wolves are in trouble because the Poole reserves will have the Wolves reserves "on toast"says Shovlar. But what the 1 to 5 ? 🤔
  14. Thanks Arnieg, that's brilliant. 1 Poole rider in this years list and that's the one who has just joined them. And from last year's list of 5, yes just 5 riders, 2 are wolves riders who ride at the track that gives a massive home advantage.LOL.
  15. Is this the same rider that you told us at the beginning of the season would have a superb homecoming and would lead from the front ? Fans of all teams told you that he would let you down big time and he has certainly done that !
  16. Virtually all riders have a higher home average than an away average. I challenge you to give me a definitive list of 2017 premiership riders that have a higher away average than home average. I doubt that you will get to 5.
  17. I should concentrate on your own problems if I were you i.e. Kaspercrap. Thorsell had a bad meeting, it happens, but he has made slow and steady progress and most wolves fans are happy enough with that. Not everyone can be world champion.
  18. It's about form. After the way he rode at the end of last year, I expected Clegg to push on this year, instead he went backwards and it may have been the pressure of being the senior reserve.Since M.Riss came he provided points and excitement and both things are a loss.
  19. Have to agree with all that. Belle Vue favourites for the title with Swindon coming up on the rails.
  20. Why don't you tell us what your order would be ? And I'm talking about the quality of racing.
