  1. Think that just about sums it up, although as good as Plymouth were the Rebels were 10 times worse bar Brady Kurtz who even himself wasn't his usual unbeatable self. Talking of bad form, what on the earth has happened to the food at Somerset? For at least the past 2 or 3 times now you get half portions compared to previous, and tonight a 35 minute wait for a portion of chips and chilli - how ridiculous. I could go to a sit down restaurant and have ordered and finished during that time! That just about set the tone of the night to be honest!
  2. Fair enough - I seem to remember Brady Kurtz being blocked from riding in the NL before, and then we all know about the fiasco that followed with his PL average.
  3. What makes him 'able' to ride in the NL? I thought as a NZ he wasn't able to.
  4. What another childish, and ill thought out (if at all) post that is. Whether he was World Champion or a second half wobbler, you can't defend the undefendable.
  5. So "There's no point in airing my dirty laundry online" but what the hell, I'll do it anyway!
  6. To be fair to him, he told us that Konopka was signing for us..... And then in the next couple of days he was announced for Peterborough! Lol
  7. See my previous post with a link to a BBC article where New Zealand have just been kicked out of the 2016 Olympic Football for fielding an ineligible player in qualifying.
  8. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33500785 This is how a professional sport deals with illegal players (in this instance) being used.
  9. The word cheat is defined as being "to act unfairly to gain an advantage" - I'm not saying Redcar did this on purpose, that is quite clearly not the case. Redcar have undoubtedly gained an unfair advantage from this.
  10. I have already posted near enough the same as this earlier in the thread totalling agreeing that all three parties take responsibility. However, that is almost irrelevant now the mistake has been spotted and something can be done about it - instead a blind eye has been turned to it. It's a standard now that cheating will be tolerated and completely acceptable. Agreed about the first part of your post, and certainly quieres the logic behind the timescale in that rule, but that's another debate for another day..... I think to just sweep this under the carpet and say "oh well they all messed up, don't let it happen again" in a professional sport is madness.
  11. Typical BSPA - realise and acknowledge that a mistake has been made, but just brush it under the carpet. Like I said previously, not only have Somerset been robbed of victory but every single team in the league has been effected. Complete joke of a decision, especially the last part which effectively says "hopefully lessons have been learnt" - but this proves you can cheat and get away with it if it's not picked up on immediately!
  12. It's very rare you see a guest rider looking for his 'team mate' but Nick did that in at least two races with Leigh Lanham last night, and as you say, very commited.
  13. Horrendous picture of Nick Morris arm on facebook I've seen this morning, with the caption "I got Fished"
  14. To be honest, any one in their right mind can tell that all three parties are at fault for various reasons here. Playing the blame game is pointless and doesn't solve anything. The only thing we do know for sure is that a rule has been broken and needs to be solved now.
  15. Not only have Somsrset lost out of this currently, but Redcar have gained on the other teams in the league too. It's not just that they've gained an advantage over Somerset. The whole thing stinks really.
  16. Magnus Zetterstrom? Is he still riding these days?
  17. Kyles going the right way about getting himself a Somerset ride next season, that's for sure.
  18. It appears Ashley Morris walked all over him at Somerset last week too.
  19. TBH, Moorwell has already explained the logic behind the rule (regardless of how poorly worded it is) which you can understand from the point of view that people such as Davey Watt, Rory Schlein etc. were lowering their average to get a PL doubling up role - much like Danny King did last year really. It seems harsh on Thorsell as appears to have just gone off the boil really, hence his average dropping so much, but a line has to be drawn somewhere I guess.
  20. On his way up, yet he's dropped down a league? Hmmm......
  21. I was busy sleeping before working an overnight shift at Glastonbury Festival!
