  1. It took a good half hour delay to get a second ambulance to Kirky Lane on Monday too, but at least they didn't take the interval as well ! Still, nice to see Slangerup in HD, and the rider facilities well improved since my last visit in 1985.
  2. Help, please! Not for me ( I have Eurosport2 ) but for my son who lives abroad..........Can you suggest best online feeds for watching the GP?I know about soccerlive.pl and wiziwig but would appreciate any other suggestions. Thanks.
  3. Anybody know who the commentators are? I don't even pretend to understand Danish, but the impression given is a couple of guys commentating on a funeral procession. Sorry, but it can't just be a language issue surely.
  4. You seem to be missing the point of Pawel's comments,Philip. Surely the point being made was that the team could not use a facility because of Nicki's absence, due to him not submitting a medical certificate.
  5. Watch enough Polish speedway and you will know that they take no prisoners. Juniors are juniors......end of! They make way. Anyway Janowski has a great record from that position.
  6. Two heat winners all night for the away team. With 5 heats to go where are they going to come from? Plus a few third places at the same time.
  7. Seen him a lot this season.......................never been near this form, though.
  8. Philip, Can you tell me just how much weather the extended roof is expected to keep out at the Motoarena? I know it's not the retractable type, but how far across the track does it extend? Any past evidence from Angels home matches? PS: Keeping to the thread title I'll go for the best man on the night..............(but would like to see a new challenger prove himself)
  9. HELP! Scorechart prints out with individual scores already showing 0 0 0 0 0...............
  10. A big thanks to ALL the racecard providers. I'm sure each of us has a favourite layout, and I'm just grateful that the guys take the trouble to provide them.
  11. Just seen this on the Weather Channel website for Bydgoszcz..... The following alerts are currently active : Thunderstorms locally with hail can occure accompanied by intense precipitation from 20 to 35 mm, locally to 50 mm and wind gusts to 90 km/h. Prognozuje si wystpienie burz, lokalnie z opadami gradu, podczas ktrych opady deszczu wynios od 20 mm do 35 mm, lokalnie do 50 mm, a wiatr osignie w porywach okoo 90 km/h.
  12. Many thanks for that. As a recent SkyHD subscriber I could not find this info in any of the bumpf that I got with the box, or on the website. I even phoned Sky CSD technical help......and he didn't know the answer either! Just picked up your post and it has helped several other folk too.
  13. Not getting into the rights or wrongs, but if you really want to make a protest to Sky then CALL THEM! An email will get lost in millions of others but a call to a person has to be acknowledged. Won't guarantee you will get what you want but far more chance than an email. PS: Adopt a reasonable attitude with the person at Sky rather than a rant, and in my experience you may have some success (No guarantees!)
  14. As an Aces fan who only manages to get to the Buxton track on a few occasions each season may I offer my congratulations to the promotion on a major achievement this season. I have always enjoyed my visits to the track (except on the odd freezing/wet Sunday),and think that the whole set-up deserves this success after providing opportunities for young riders for so long. It would be nice to think that somewhere Ken Moss will be smiling with satisfaction.........
  15. It is also worth pointing out that if you want to identify your seat positions exactly (or ask for an end of aisle seat, for example), you can skip the website and instead telephone the booking office and actually speak to a real person!
  16. Thanks, Paul...................very welcome! PS: You should know by now that you could travel to the meeting, text heat by heat results direct to people's phones, offer interval hot-dogs and drinks and a prize to those who guess the top three...................and someone on this forum would still find something to complain about............
  17. I'm grateful to all the authors for their efforts, and have used the Danish version for everything but the GP's. I always use the Star for the televised GP's, (even use it at Cardiff!) BUT..........for those that are not aware and have the necessary technology, there is now an i-phone app for GP's which enables you to enter the heat results as you go, and it automatically updates the running scores/qualifiers etc. Not for everyone, but a high tech scorecard for those who want it..........
  18. http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=zmw:00000.1.02566&hourly=1&yday=225&weekday=Saturday Sorted!
  19. Perhaps our Polish friends can explain this one: I've just been perusing the heat results on Polish website and Gollob's non-appearance in heat 15 is shown as 'zm'. When this is put into Microsoft translate it comes up as 'died'. I watched the match and this is obviously false but the translation did make me wonder.......
  20. Depends where you look for the forecast,Rob. Weather Underground says 30% chance of rain exceeding 1mm all afternoon 'til 8pm. (That's more rain than it forecast for Saturday!)
