I would have wanted BWD back for the Robins
-
I don’t agree with the asset system myself. The CL could always pay out the money to buy their “contracts” from the PL. Also bear in mind that there aren’t enough riders available to have the same number of clubs in one combined league - so if the leagues were combined - who would survive? Then there wouldn’t need to be any legal challenge as all in the same league. As I said, British speedway is on its knees and needs co-operation moving forward - not the “I’m alright Jack” attitude that usually emanates from Dorset way
-
That’s all well and good - so you wouldn’t mind if PL assets weren’t permitted to ride in the CL? The sport is on its knees - in all leagues!
-
Looks like Frenchie has a broken collarbone from the SEC - so probably rules him out from any team changes at BV.
-
And in the meantime short change the paying public
-
We all know that was a bit optimistic - if unrealistic. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
-
So its BV on Thursday. BV haven’t travelled so well this season and have a couple of riders still not back to where they were prior to their injuries but they shouldn’t be underestimated. Swindon have suffered for most of the year from injuries - just as one recovers another has got injured. Adam being out is a loss on his form this year but R/R should cover. Swindon also have the “find” of the league in Rasmus Jensen (still can’t believe no one picked him up at the start of the year). I think Swindon should win this and no league points for BV. COYR

I don’t think they are. Ipswich still looking like the team to beat - in the playoffs! -

They moan when he posts and they moan when he doesn’t. Unbelievable -
It’s all about VFM - and speedway in its current guise is miles away from that - IMHO
-
He finished off second in Swindon’s averages having knocked nearly 2points off his average (riding at number 1)
-
From a number 1 to a reserve in one season - not good!
-
He already has had a change of team and seems to only be going in one direction since last season. Hope he can get back to where he should be (but not on Thursday at Blunsdon though)

Peterborough v Belle Vue - Prem Mon 15th July

If the panthers didn’t have bad luck they would have no luck at all this year. Team was ripped apart before the season started and now down 2 riders and only at heat 3 -

Because it was an unsatisfactory start - so the crash happened after the movement at the start which I suspect the ref was pulling them back for. -
I wonder who gave that false information? Skiddely!

Ipswich v Poole Prem. 11/6/19

I’m sure this all started from one person having a fishing expedition to bring out someone that he blocked because he isn’t interested in anything he has to say! Probably chuckling away to himself. Don’t feed the troll!! -
It was my understanding that the average used is their latest achieved average. Vissing hasn’t raced in the PL this season, so it should be his converted CL average which does fit - especially as Swindon have about 1.5 points to play with too. But this is speedway and it depends on what day of the week and who is asking as to what rule is applied!
