No we won’t!
-
I wrote Ipswich off before a wheel was turned at the start of the season because on paper the team looked shockingly poor. Last night (and this season) showed that matches aren’t won on paper. What is required is grit and determination and the witches had that by the bucket load and fully deserve their place in the final. On paper, they will be the underdogs again but as Poole found out to their cost, you can never write them off. Whether they do win or not, the Witches can be proud that they proved the doubters wrong (myself included). Now to the other semis and who will meet the witches in the final. I think either team are capable of winning and hopefully they show the same passion as the Witches. #COYR

Looks like Holder didn’t get the memo that he doesn’t need to lower his average anymore. Kurtz obviously read his memo That Harris lad looks really good at Wimborne Road - bet Poole wish they signed him -

Go Harris -
Never liked that rule - if a team wants to build top heavy as opposed to strength in depth then that’s surely up to them.

Congratulations Poole for finishing top of the qualifying league. -
So you don't think Brady and Holder were looking after their averages for next year? I predict you will see them on top form for the play-offs

OMG - so much bitterness. Back to the speedway - that’s bound to cheer everyone up

Looking at the Heeps exclusion - most refs would have called all 4 back but from the replay, it is hard to argue that the ref didn't get it right. In Heat 15, in real time I thought Scrabble was to blame but on the replay, you can clearly see that PUK lifts just before the corner which I think was the main cause for the ref excluding him. Ref did OK last night and the meeting certainly wasn't as one-sided as SS thinks (or deliberately trying to get a reaction - shock, horror) and if Ipswich are picked against Poole, it won't be a walk in the park for the Pie rats.

Certainly closer than the final score suggests. Scrabble the star tonight - if he went any wider, he would be riding the fence

Track looks bumpy - Kurtz slo-mo of heat 13 shows just how bumpy!
