Who let him get some experience? I know he is an asset but riders will ride where they want. Somerset didn't want him, Swindon did - job done. Considering he spent the bulk of the year at #2, he did a great job and I hope he does come back to Swindon.

Nope - this year was his second year and they honoured this by having him back - even though he took up a large percentage of the starting team average

So it looks like Sheffield wont win the promotion battle (by some distance). So that means they wont be in the Premiership next season except this is Speedway and anything can happen

There is no point in having promotion/relegation unless teams abide by the results. It looks like Sheffield want to come up - what would happen if they lose this double headed money spinner? It would be shocking if Sheffield lose and still find themselves in the Premiership. Similarly if Leicester lose and stay up. Speedway is not a sport for promotion/relegation as it very much depends on funds.

They would probably have done so also if Chris Holder, Troy Batchelor, Hans Andersen or any other top rider not riding in the UK were allowed to ride but the rules don't allow it so its all ifs buts and maybes. The fact is that Swindon won it.

I don't disagree with them but whenever they mention Doyle, they also add that he is the best rider in the world! We know - don't need to say it every tme though!
