He may still qualify from the Aussie champs - or another state championship and can even put in a special case given his form last year (which was dire except for winning the Aussie championship).
-
And you feel justified in having Kai Huckenbeck for a second season. If he hadn't have ridden last year - he would be coming in on a 7. Oh wait - no he wouldn't because no one would touch him!
-
All of a sudden a balanced side is the way to go?? Very short memory if you don't remember the top heavy years of the turbo twins and many before them. Poole don't often go down the balanced side route. Personally, I would have wanted Doyley and Noddy at Swindon.

Chalkie is usually reliable so although nothing official yet - I'm sure it soon will be.
-
Somerset are in the Premiership so surely Swindon get priority!
-
Oh great - we get to weaken our team further - happy days - NOT! Have not heard anything from the club or anywhere else for that matter.
-
Half a team? Trolling? Anti-Poole Hans was replaced by a better rider - the fact he didn't perform and didn't turn up was not down to injuries. And Tungate was the in-form rider when compared to Bjarne so I reiterate - Poole did not lose because of injuries - they were beaten by the better team.
-
Probably because it is mostly their 2016 PL team
-
A true statement. However it didn't apply to Poole last season - they were beaten fair and square by the better team - despite Poole trying to work a flanker by replacing Hans with a better rider which spectacularly backfired BIG time when he went missing but not through injuries. Nor forgetting a convenient "injury" for Bjarne when he was out of form and replaced him with an in-form Tungate. So injuries did not wreck Poole's chances - no matter how many times you try and claim they did!
-
Great idea - lets do that this season. That means Swindon have 4 more points to play with

Riding in the EL last year for Swindon - Tungate was a late replacement for the absent Dakota North. He started poorly and was on the verge of being dropped but rode through this bad form at reserve and that was the catalyst he needed to raise his game. However both he and Josh G went missing more often than you would want or expect and now they are the top 2 in this team. While I like them both - Zummerzet will need a bucket load of luck next season. One thing that was consistent about the 2016 Roobins was their inconsistency and this was mainly down to these two riders. Poole and Rye House stand out from the rest.

You two are like a right married couple - you just keep flirting with each other. I suggest you get a room to cement your relationship

I don't think the team is that bad. Riders in all teams will struggle to obtain their averages (except the ringers that everyone has been after e.g. Klindt - who for years hasn't been wanted by any team and he ended up at Leicester and this year he was in demand). I think Bellego should do well from what I have seen of him, Ellis showed last year how he has improved but if he can maintain his average he will have done well. In this league, Morris is a good number 2 behind Doyle and Andersen should attain his average (especially when a number of people are saying he should be a 7!). That leaves the reserves - a local youngster who is rated and should improve and Grondal who should attain his average at reserve. While it isn't the strength of team we would all like, the continual watering down of the league over the last 6 years has brought this situation about and, if that team don't perform, then changes WILL be made. Up the Robins!
-
That much is evident!
-
So - not a gentleman's agreement then - changed rules or not!
-
Is that the same gentleman's agreement he had with Gomolski for next year?
-
But surely Swindon will not finish the season with their starting 1-7 - I'd be very surprised and think they won't be fighting or the wooden spoon.
-
What a difference a day makes
-
That is just too sad - unbelievable! Surely it can't end this way? Fingers crossed that this isn't the end and Bees will take their place for the coming season.
-
Emil will be in top 5 and Zak at reserve

Retaining 6 riders from the previous season when they were in a lower league - how poor is that?
-
No Bates then?
-
Me too! And I thought he was just doom and gloom

So your team not having the month of June off again?
