  1. I think he had the last laugh though when he won the EL for Wolves in heat 14.
  2. I thought I was on AA Roadwatch for a minute or plane spotters anonymous
  3. What exactly are you expecting? Season is over - what are you expecting them to be bothered about? Are you saying that Holder isn't passionate and doesn't bleed blue?
  4. In your humble opinion. I think he is a great ambassador for speedway, does a lot for charity, a great speedway rider and a thoroughly nice chap (although I don't like his tattoos but I can live with that).
  5. Tai Woffinden - two times world champion and British - a great rider and I fully support him.
  6. Well done to Wolves - EL champions 2016. Bad luck BV who gave themselves too much to do after the first leg. Good that Woffy won it for them
  7. BV topped the league and looking like Wolves have won the league!
  8. BV needed a 5-1 there. The fat lady is clearing her throat! Still mathematically possible but with Lindgren and Woffy coming out, it looks like Wolves have both hands on the trophy. Well done to both teams.
  9. I'm not so bothered if he does or not - as long as it is a good meeting and not over as a contest until the last couple of heats. If this means Kyle has a shocker then I can live with that.
  10. Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Let's hope that BV pull this back to make it an interesting last few heats. Good luck to both teams and the crowning of the new EL champions!
  11. You would think that any team with an 18 point lead going into the second leg of the grand final would come out on top on aggregate. However, if BV can win 55-35 (which is do-able if the entire team really want it) then they will emerge champions. Well done to Wolves on their win last night - they showed their determination to win and build up a very big lead to take to the NSS. Of course you have to fancy Wolves to win overall but I'd like to think that the top team over the league season would up their game for the last throw of the dice (regardless of having their starting 1-7 - which I think is totally irrelevant). As I've said before I would like to see BV win on aggregate but wouldn't be disappointed if Wolves won it. Good luck to both teams for Wednesday.
  12. Rotten luck for Doyley. In a tweet he said he doesn't know the full extent of his injuries and included a photo of his right arm in plaster and a chest drain on his left side. Hope he makes a speedy recovery and he was oh so close to becoming world champion too. Gutted for him.
  13. Considering we are reading - it doesn't matter if we are deaf or not
  14. Probably because you and the paperboy have munched your way through them and have run out
  15. So we were talking about your maths and as usual rather than admit you were wrong, you turn it around and start attacking and insulting. My club finished fifth as you well know but why is that relevant?. How does stating a fact show hate for Poole - only in your twisted mind!
  16. No it wouldn't and two 5-1s would have meant golden heats. Definitely chomp, chomp, chomp
  17. Good luck to both teams who thoroughly deserve their place in the final. If Wolves can build up a lead then they could kill it before they move on to the NSS. However, BV should be up for this and how great would it be for them to win the title after so many years at the wrong end of the table in their first year at the NSS? So I would like BV to win on aggregate but wouldn't be too disappointed if Wolves were to do it.
