Surely not - this is the 21st century and everything is to disk now isn't it? -
Wolverhampton V Poole. Elb. 5/9/17

So is that Hansi, Bucks and Holder out? Bit light in the heat leader department then - will need the second strings/reserves to step up! -
Of course the "top guys" don't put the effort into the UK - they just do it to pass a few hours - don't put the effort in and therefore don't get much pay. Really?? How can you compare scores in the UK with Sweden and Poland? With the new race format in the UK, top heat leaders meet other top heat leaders more often than they used to which affects their scoring. The tracks also have a big impact because in the UK, a race is often over by the first bend! I don't subscribe to the theory that top riders turn up to work to put zero effort in! That and the implication that riding for Leicester made him a world beater!

Yes but Poole charge for children - which is shocking! -
Well done to the Roobins and Morris with a 5 ride maximum too. Need to keep it up for away to Lakeside and BV

C'mon the Stars! -
If he gets a chance to return

It appears that Hans isn't as bad as Matt was reporting (potentially) so looks like no changes at Poole - although a few guests covering in the meantime. It must be heartbreaking for the Poole fans as it appears they were looking to strengthen and instead will get a not fully fit Hansi. Oh well thems the breaks!

So Who Is Going To Win The El In 2016?
Steve0 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Swindon haven't booked a place in the playoffs yet and are dependent on Lakeside losing against KL and Swindon beating Leicester. The latter should be easy but everyone thought that earlier in the season when Leicester won at Swindon! Should be clearer at the end of this week (possibly Thursday) -
So Who Is Going To Win The El In 2016?
Steve0 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What is good this year is that at this time of the season it isn't clear cut who will win the whole thing. As said above it looks like 1 from 3 just now with Wolves probably edging it on current form. However, in the play-offs anything can happen - which is good from a spectator point of view. -
Leicester V Poole, Monday 29th August @ 19:45

On the Poole website the match report says that he looks set to be out for the season including the GP Challenge at the weekend - not confirmed that he definitely will be though. -
WTF? The ref definitely wrong in heat 15!

Well done to Leicester - how they manage to win with that team is beyond me but fair play to them -
It was close but Tungate definitely touched the tapes first IMHO
-
Iversen having a shocker and Lambert not too much better. To be fair the whole team have been c@ck tonight but I'm sure the riders know that.

So who would Max be replacing - as I don't recall reading that any of the Poole riders were injured earlier? -

More likely to get Tom P Madsen -
King's Lynn V The Wolves 25/08/16
Steve0 replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Strong on paper - really? They didn't have PUK at the start of the season and Batch was injured and they looked poor at reserve having to release Lewis Kerr. If anything, they looked like they would struggle and that has been the case. -
If Wolves and Lakeside make the playoffs then I think Poole and BV may falter in the semis. Swindon would seem an easier pick for whoever tops the table but as Grachan has said, if the Swindon team all click like we have seen in several matches (as well as total capitulation in others) then they shouldn't be written off. When the 4 play-off contenders are finalised then I agree that Wolves on current form look to be the team to beat but all teams will raise their game in the semis and final and finishing top should be a priority so at least they have some level of control in their destiny.

I don't agree with your logic. A number of the matches still to be ridden involve the playoff teams e.g. Poole still have to go to Belle Vue (twice) and Wolves, Swindon at Lakeside and Belle Vue, Belle Vue at Poole. So I think it is far from certain who will finish top. Poole haven't ridden the BV track so I don't know how you can say that BV should win. It looks like 1 from 3 for top spot so not clear cut.
