Surely speedway is now much easier to promote with the Internet and free social media to get it out on at any time they like. It's more like they don't bother to promote properly or use the tools properly to do so.
Even though clubs are folding and have folded because people don't do,,, people still are not and won't be going. When it's said use or lose it,, some would still rather lose it. That's how little appeal speedway has now.
I certainly think the racing may be a bit more closely looking with the witches riders trying to chase dowm their opposition, but I think less passes will be made. So I'm not sure if that's classed as better racing or not.
The racing can be as bad with a higher class of rider,,, the track plays a big part. The Nss is more or less guaranteed to have good racing,, Foxhall isnt
I've always found it strange that a big win in speedway is often seen as boring, but in football or rugby and many team sports a big win is seen different.
