  1. So Sheffield had another away win . so since they were not that fancied and we are, is it all down to the riders having the right attitude for them and not Us?
  2. Exactly. Well put sir. You put it better than me anyway
  3. We do seem to have a couple of riders that only seem to be able to put effort into their racing when the track is to their liking. Nico just seemed to pin the throttle and hang on yesterday, and because of that he scored well . We had these riders last season as well, so when Louis put the team together was he expecting different from them this season?
  4. Hoping the lads will get their backsides into gear when I go to Newcastle this weekend.
  5. If you take the scores of Danny and nico away and sometimes stefan. I don't think we have been that good at all In most of the meetings so far
  6. also Ritchie has a different engine coming from Chris for our next meeting. The riders were also asked why the whole day they couldn't get out the starts and where the starts prepared any different. I didn't know this but apparently Chris is the main man for the prep now. He said he didn't get it right because it was under water on the Sunday and the track walk before the meeting didn't help with getting the water into it. I also had a good chat with Ritchie after he came over and shook my hand off his own back which was nice of him. what I nice bloke he is. We had a chat about his equipment and what's happening with it and a chat about the new team manager and a few other things.
  7. Just in case anyone wondered, no I'm not also the special one
  8. I want to say well done to the tigers, faster out of the starts all day. Also well done to the presenter for asking some awkward questions after and well done to the riders for not dodging them.
  9. That's why I was asking. I don't really know how long it takes to lay a track from the Base up. I'm not sure how much material is put on top of the Base at foxhall. sometimes it doesn't look much at all.
  10. Wonder what condition the track will be in since they had banger racing on last night. Is a day and a bit enough to sort it out properly?
  11. The problem With meetings like this is often the track. Not what the home team is used to. It should still be 20 plus win though. I think most people would be happy with a 7 point win and some good racing though. Bank holiday meetings and good racing don't normally go together mind.
  12. It's not that difficult to be critical really. It's supposed to be a professional sports club, and from my own point of view, I want to see my team win things if possible. I do believe though that Ritchie should be given a fair chance of turning things around, and I think he will.
  13. That's what I sort of meant, in the past some riders are given far to much time.
  14. I don't imagine his team place Will be under pressure for ages yet. If there is one thing you can't fault ipswich on, it's giving the riders plenty of time.
  15. the away performances have been better this season so far, but we still throw away winning positions. I have a feeling they are going to start getting worse though without nico at reserve. Both his and stefan's scores have kept us in meetings on the Road when other team members haven't performed like they should.
  16. Looks like we need to hurry up and arrange our match with Plymouth whilst everyone is going there and winning. Looks like morten isn't exactly showing his normal Plymouth form
  17. It's gonna be a thrashing of the highest order I think. Like you say, hiding those cracks up
  18. can someone copy up or post a link to what Hilton has said in the paper today. Possibly a load of drivel, but it is normally A funny read.
  19. well now nico will be in the main team that doesn't help us much, as I can't see Ritchie scoring anywhere what nico has been, and nico now only having 4 possibly 5 races instead of 6 or 7. And in reality it's mainly been the scoring from nico that has seen us score better on away tracks recently. I personally think we will flatter to deceive again this.
  20. I would love to join in and give my opinions on tungate, but I've given them before, so no need to give them again. He reminds me a lot of Miskoviak though. And you can't blame tungate really, it's the Sheffield track staffs fault for not preparing the track to his liking.
  21. well our number 5 could have helped out a bit more and Ritchie still hasn't got going either.
  22. You are correct, and it would mean we are serious contenders. I think we are again slightly stronger with rr for gino on a track like this. Again if gino has his eyes set on making it to the top, he needs plenty of track time getting used to tracks like this.
