  1. He is doing something right, he scores pretty good at Ipswich where if he gates is fast enough to win plenty of races, if he doesn't gate though, don't expect to see him making many passes, think I've counted 2 genuine ones at foxhall. He did race speedway bikes before going road racing, so it's more than 3 years really.
  2. The problem I have is riders like tungate don't even try to give the dirt and try, if he really does have ambitions then he needs to learn how to race on all types of tracks. This is why I can't ever see him being any better than he is now. To counter act that he could be a curb crawler, often the quickest way round towards the end of the meeting, but he doesn't do that either, it's just lap after lap after lap, race after race after race on the only line he ever seems to ride, about 3 to 4 meters from the curb, and that line is hardly ever the best to be on. I know i like to watch proper racers and chasers which doesn't help. I travel many miles and spend plenty of money watching my team, and it would be nice to see them giving it a good go. As for Thursday, come on you witches.
  3. Same as you always thrash us, both tracks a ridden completely differently, you may fair and bit better than usual though as lanham can sometimes score very well at Ipswich.
  4. I think the speedway updates can be a bit more in depth as not limited like a tweet.
  5. I think Ipswich are lucky that after our last meeting the next one is at home to Somerset, cos if was away then we would be out the cup. Also luckily for Ipswich they will thrash Somerset so everyone can then think again that Ipswich have title contending side, although at the moment we certainly haven't.
  6. Can I just ask those that didn't attend but followed the meeting how they followed? Speedway updates, panthers twitter or Mike bacon twitter? I tend to do a fair few for Ipswich, especially away, and was just wondering.
  7. Well there is nothing stopping Ipswich preparing the track in such a way to make it more of a home advantage is there? They obviously choose not to for some reason. Or is it prepared in such a way now that our riders can ride it? Safe and easy.
  8. Well as an Ipswich fan in thought it was a great track last night, a proper race track that sorts the men from the girls, and it certainly did that. Well done to Peterborough riders Danny and cam.
  9. Even if there is only one line by the fence, shouldn't that be the one that you ride on? It's not only for the home team to use. I hate travelling away and watching our riders crawl round the curb on the slowest line. Grow some balls boys.
  10. It didn't suit us no, but what bothers me is they couldn't adapt to it either. Just take king for example, way of the pace in heat one,he made some changes and the rest is history, surely the other riders know how to adapt their bikes and lines to suit?
  11. That's it, deep grippy track and some Ipswich riders can't ride on it, it's not the panthers fault some of our riders don't have balls big enough to get stuck out in it. And watching tungate tonight backs up my reasoning on why he will never ever be a proper number one, unlike king who loved getting out in the deep stuff and looked in total control in it.
  12. I said a lot will depend on gino and rohan, both were poor and we got stuffed.
  13. Mmmmmmm the panthers have managed something none of the rest of us could so far, and beat the rockets away from home. Have a feeling it's gonna be a tough night for the witches to win now. Can we keep it close, or is it going be be a big stuffing? With Danny in the team it should be enough to maybe take a point. Can't see us winning though.
  14. That's why I put those 2,, tungate normally does okay there, but in my mind didn't quite look his best on Friday.and gino doesn't exactly pull up any trees there, but may do slightly better due to his recent pairs event
  15. So Rye house would rather have zero panthers fans at 20 instead of however many paying 16. Times must be really good down Rye house way, they are so lucky to be in a position to be turning paying customers away.
  16. There will be plenty of Ipswich fans there, we always have very good away support. Should be a good meeting. For Ipswich to get a some points here I think it all depends on how gino and rohan perform.
  17. So with nico guesting at Rye house in the afternoon, let's hope his one bike can cope. I take it he has more than one engine? Cos a good slick prepared engine for Rye probably won't be much good at the grippy showground, and he won't have enough time to change an engine that day.
  18. Yeah, glad it was cancelled yesterday now, this looks a lot better meeting.
  19. But Peterborough have another match in the evening, so they won't be staying to watch it, so why should they pay for it? Maybe panthers fans should be let in for the normal admission price? Sounds like an own goal from Rye house
  20. Well the three of us sitting together didn't hear anything or we wouldn't have started to head to Peterborough. Having said that, it's sometimes hard to hear anything where we sit. Same as you superblue I didn't hear anything, but we do sit together
  21. Yeah would have been handy to know it was off before we left the stadium.
  22. Didn't heeps himself say last year that he doesn't have any problems with his wrist? Apart from that he has no feeling in it.
