Ipswich V Rye House 26-3-15
Baldyman replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Actually I think you will find in most professional sports, if you drop someone, they normally perform better next time, cos no one likes to be dropped. Again, in most professional sports, it wouldn't matter when in the season it is, they would try to do the best they can to win. -

In a professional sport like football do they leave their non performing striker on the pitch if he isn't performing just to give him some extra match time? No, didn't think so. So is team speedway a sport or an entertainment. -

So are you saying they didn't care if the team didn't win, and send their teams fans home happy doing the best they could of to win? After spending hundreds and hundreds of pounds following my team around the country most weeks, that's not a very nice thing to know. -

Well Chris Louis I think the new manager possibly cost us a draw or maybe the win, surely covatti should have had an extra ride either replacing Stefan or gino when they rode together, probably gino. That said I'm sure he did do the job on the night to be best of his abilities -

Rye house are normally one of the better visitors since ipswich been in the premier, and I see this visit being no different. -

Like a few others, I really do think that Rye house have a team that could push for a play off place, and jakobson certainly looks like the has the ability to improve. Having said that I don't think they will get anything on Thursday. Rohan is a lot better at home than he is away and gino will score more than 2. Would be great to see Cameron carry on with his high scoring from Saturday. Hopefully Stefan can sort his bike problems out for this meeting and maybe even stay on for all of the races he takes part in. Not sure about Stefan equipment, but it looks the same as it did a few years ago. -
Peterborough V Somerset Plc Sunday 22nd March

One of the best race tracks in the country and the track staff don't know what they are doing, big shame. -

Well done Somerset, the two meetings on good Friday against Ipswich have now become very important for both teams. -
More like special needs

Well Barbara Horley, what a joke, never know a ref to change their mind before, but she did. How she got a job as a speedway ref defies belief. Cameron heeps, bloody brilliant, king, very good, Stefan, needs to sort his bikes out, gino, disappointing tonight, rohan, very disappointing, covatti, fast in front and tries hard when not, take not rohan, team manager, dear oh dear. Funniest thing, watching the team manager trying to put a helmet cover on nico

I don't care if it's his first meeting in charge, new manager clueless
-
Too late, it must be cold lol
-
Especially someone as young and vibrant as me, lol

Well what a pleasant surprise, was expecting a shriveled up old sausage, but there it was staring at me, real just cooked fish. Fine start to the evening

What Are You Looking Forward To This Season?
Baldyman replied to Robinh88's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
That all rules new and old are implemented correctly. -
So everyone should just bury their heads in the sand then. Or if it has been passed for another reason, they should remove the rule that says he should be on another average. Don't have a rule that isn't going to be used, simple.
-
Wonder if he can race small tracks like that. Let's hope it's okay. How did jakabson look at press and practice? I still fancy the rockets to take the result by about 6
-
Well if that is the rule and it looks like it is, shouldn't any club that's racing against them now put their cash up and ride under protest? It's about time promotions stuck together and made sure the rules are stuck to, even if it doesn't benefit them.
-
Well I was thinking more of the ones for my mental instability, but yeah those will do
-
Or maybe I should start taking the tablets again
-
Yeah sorry, probably more of us
-
Oh well, sausage it is then.
-
Get down there, normally just as many of us witches fans as there are rockets. Normally some good banter aswell. Any Rye house fan know if there is going to be some proper fish this season? He was more than on the pace, as my updates said, very good rider, and hopefully a British rider that can go a long long way
-
I don't know, so won't try to answer that
