Actually I think you will find in most professional sports, if you drop someone, they normally perform better next time, cos no one likes to be dropped. Again, in most professional sports, it wouldn't matter when in the season it is, they would try to do the best they can to win.

In a professional sport like football do they leave their non performing striker on the pitch if he isn't performing just to give him some extra match time? No, didn't think so. So is team speedway a sport or an entertainment.

So are you saying they didn't care if the team didn't win, and send their teams fans home happy doing the best they could of to win? After spending hundreds and hundreds of pounds following my team around the country most weeks, that's not a very nice thing to know.

Like a few others, I really do think that Rye house have a team that could push for a play off place, and jakobson certainly looks like the has the ability to improve. Having said that I don't think they will get anything on Thursday. Rohan is a lot better at home than he is away and gino will score more than 2. Would be great to see Cameron carry on with his high scoring from Saturday. Hopefully Stefan can sort his bike problems out for this meeting and maybe even stay on for all of the races he takes part in.
