I postponed my trip to Wroclaw for the third time due to the weather forecast and so i'm pleased i didn't decide to go(The other 2 times were for Golden Helmet last year after date changed due to GP fiasco,and earlier this season when it clashed with moving house). Going instead for Leszno meeting on 21st June, 4th time lucky i hope!

Im going over for this does anyone know the start time for the whole meeting, i cant find it anywhere?

I'm off to Wroclaw on sunday and am looking for details of how to get to the stadium from the city centre where i'm staying. I arrive at the airport at 11.50 am and the meeting starts at 4pm, i'm presuming i have enough time to go to my hotel and check in , eat and still get to the meeting in plenty of time? anyone any experience of doing this before?

Any idea when the allsvenskan fixtures will be released? Also any news on signings for the Stockholm based teams, their web sites don't seem to be updated? Thanks

Is there a set time that league meetings start in Poland? Would the Easter Monday meetings be at different start times?Or does each club do their own thing, if so i need in particular to know the usual start tiems for Wroclaw and Bydgoszcz as i'm planning trips to early season meetings there. Thanks

I went to Griparna last season and was going to go next season into Stockholm itself to watch Hammarby in the eliteserien. With them now going to the allsvenskan and Getitngarna also going to this level i'm now wondering of those 2 which to go to. Is Gettingarna in Stockholm itself? I wil be flying in from London on Ryan Air so whichever track is easier to get to from either of the airports they fly into would get my vote. Any idea when fixtures for allsvenskan will be released? Am i correct that no elite tracks are now easy to get to from UK Thanks for any help

Are they going to reschedule before the end of the month? If so and i know the date by Thursday i think i can change the time on my flights for a small fee, will save Bydgoscz for a league match next year when i know it will be at it's best. If you hear anything please keep me updated. Thanks

Please any Polish friends out there if you hear any news about this meeting can you post whats happening, as i'm unsure how the change to Bydgoscz on 18th will affect this and i dont want to waste a plane ticket hotel room if its postponed. Have looked on the Wroclaw website and no news as yet since yesterdays grand prix cock up.

Feel so sorry for those whov'e paid for flights/hotels etc they wont get that back!Nearly went myself so obviously glad i didn't but i could still be affected by this as have flight/hotel next Friday for Wroclaw golden helmet, but unsure now if this will happen with Gollob, Holta, Kasprzak at Bydgoscz the next day, will have to wait and see. Following speedway outside your home town is a real big gamble, but one i guess you think your safe from if they have a roof!!

As its now less thna 2 weeks away now i thought i'd try again with this one as got no response last time. Can any Polish friends please translate for me what it says on the Wroclaw site about tickets? I know it starts at 6pm and the line up looks great, but i need to know if it's possible to get in on the day, what are likley/usual prices, plus any ideas on cheap places to stay that are easy to get to stadium from would be very much appreciated. Ok i've done a little digging and found out how the golden helmet is organised, where the track is and got a list of places to stay. So what i need still most importantly is the start time, so i can make sure my flight is going to get me there in plenty of time, and somehwere wehere the final league Polish averages are listed so i can work out who will be riding. Also anyone who has stayed there before who can recommend cheap accomodation would also be very useful. Thanks Again davidba

I may fly over if it looks promising as very cheap Ryan Air flights that Fri/Sat. Cheap hotels/hostel details, how to get to stadium etc would also be appreciated as usual. Is Grindsted as easy as it looks from Billund airport. I checked the travel site and it said 26 minutes on the bus? Any idea where the track is when i get into Grindsted? As i said i've probably left it too late for 08 but it will keep me going on those long winter nights if i can make these plans for next spring!

After really enjoying my trip to sweden this week to see Griparna v Ornarna(Hougaard was excellant) i would now like to organise a trip to a Danish league match(Probably next season now). So anyone who knows or has done short trips from London to a danish leasgue meeting please give me advice on where you flew to, how easy to get to stadium etc. Are there any tracks within easy travel of Copenhagen airport? As soon as next years fixtures are released i can then plan which meeting to go to and book cheap flights/accom. Thanks in advance for any help. davidba
