I was just thinking that, now it seems more of a business than a hobby that might or might not make you a career Think it would be nice for a few other tracks to have a re-union like the Hackney one I really enjoyed that, Now a Rye House re-union that would be good Except me little Ashley Pullen wont be there bless him
-
Bobby Mc yep definately better when younger He's going to slap me for that Awwwwwww must be Zenon he hasn't changed one bit!!! and he remembered washing his leathers in Auntie Unas washing machine and couldn't understand why they shrunk

Cardiff Gp 2007 Tickets For Sale
shazzybird replied to rabbit's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I agree with you there Rabbit, £140.00 a night for the hotel a lot of money but to travel on the same day maybe hit traffic, car breakdown whatever at least if you get there the day before, I don't know about you but I feel settled knowing that I am there already for the Saturday. Suzie tried to stay away last year because of the expense and also because Mark wasn't riding which is fair enough, even she couldn't stay away and if she's honest would admit that she missed being there on the Friday Having been to all of the Cardiff GP's I couldn't think of anything worse than staying at home and watching it, knowing what I was missing by not being there. The only thing I wouldn't miss would be the travelling. -
Right think I got the rider behind the rider behind Len is it Dingle? if not then it's back to the drawing board
-
Oh it was Summer Pat definately Summer July 2005 absolutely beautiful evening with fantastic company, Infact it was like a forum members meeting outside. Got 10 now! Need to get them all before Bryn gets on here and names them all The rider behind the rider behind Len if only he'd sidestep just once
-
I'm getting there and now can name 9 ish not a confident 9 but each time I watch I can name another now I know who that is behind Uncle Len as I was introduced to him but............. reckon I was full of vodka by then and now have to re-trace my steps to remember his name and I'm kicking myself for this as it was Monty that introduced me to him.
-
I can name 5 possibly 6. Had another look so it's now 6 possibly 7 If I cheat I'll get all of them but am proud of the ones I managed to recognise

Great minds think alike I been looking back Through all my copies of the wonderful backtrack Contact through Lisa would like I say Get Martins report on that fateful day God Andrew Silver there's a blast from the past I visited him in hospital after he fell on his arse Sat in his bed with his leg in the air Showing his bits to the world without a care A young Shazzybird came over all hot Left nothing to the imagination you could see the lot Auntie dragged me away from the startling scene Had to tell all my friends about the Silver machine
-
Martins daughter Lisa is a forum member no doubt Why don't you get her to give him a shout Get the story right straight from the start and honest opinion from good ol' Mart

Most people go to Cardiff not just for the one day but two making it an expensive weekend. The Holiday Inn price has increased mega since the first Cardiff last year, so we go for a hotel a little walk from the stadium even that one is £240 for two nights unless of course you book in bulk then there are discounts available. Then there is the spending money, ticket money, travel there and back. Sometimes it's cheaper to take in 2 or 3 other GP's rather than just the one British GP which has a much larger crowd than most yet seems to be one of the most expensive.
