Watt, Ward and Batchelor were all out of there depth, Holder was unlucky or choaked and Schlein rode far better than I ever expected. I had the Aussies down for thrid but thought it would go tothe last couple of races.

I don't see that GB start this as clear favourites, if it's slick with no grip etc then the Swedes and Roos will be a better betting proposition, purely onthe basis onbeing more consistant out of the gate, team GB only have Rico who can gate wit the best in the world! My comment was made around heat 6, up until then it was boring, however it did improve thankfully. Maybe my idea of excitment is far different to yours, entertainment is the business speedway is in, I'd hardly say the first 6 heats were entertaining, or maybe I'm wrong!!
