any newbie watching last nights meeting would have bigger questions than Tatums gaff...people on here sitting at home in their y fronts with the Lidl fan on, feet in a bowl of cold water, playing Neil Diamond on repeat on the TDK C90 tape they bought at the car boot sale , with the dog ten stone over weight licking its balls, neighbours next door not answering the door to the old bill, sitting with the laptop on just waiting for a commentators gaff, a riders mistake or a team mangers error.....gotta love us speedway fans haven't with we!!! -

really enjoy the Tatum and Nicholls combination, both have personalities and their own traits....would rather listen to ex riders who have some idea what they are talking about.....nobody has that close contact and "in" with the riders like Nicholls has. For those moaning about Tatums gaff about only needing one point to win, if you knew at the time it was wrong what real difference did it make, did it spoil your viewing of heat 15?. Some people on here would moan if you gave them a gold bar, moaning it was too heavy! -
speedway is in the entertainment sector, sadly last nights meeting was not entertaining. For the sport to evolve it needs to attract new and young fans to go to meetings and thus be entertained.

I was going to vote but couldn’t see a option for the tractor driver.

All joking put to one side, a truly shocking night for the sport…. The hotdogs are not real sausages.
-
I bet the locals are looking forward to Blue performing afterwards. None of the natives will be feeling Blue after this meeting.
-
Anybody know if the hotdogs are real sausages or those wannabe sausages?
-
Blue line starting to appear around bends one and two….cracking advert for the sport is this.
-
Track is atrocious, gate and go baby, gate and go…
-
The state of the track…dust already, track looks a right mess
-
what do we reckon then, dust by heat six and a blue line around heat 11.

Belle Vue v Ipswich Monday 30th June
Odds On replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Doyle still doesn't look 100% race fit. Over two legs you would fancy Ipswich to win, Belle Vue were well served by their two studs. Now off on a tangent, some on this forum give Tatum and Nicholls stick, well fekk me if you had listened to last nights commentators you would have nothing but praise for Kelvin and Scott...last night there was some really decent races only to be made out to be a bore fest by Staechmann and his co commentator. -
Bewley bang on the money…How bad does Zach Cook look,

thought the track staff did a great job with the track, simply a world of difference between last night and the debacle at Birmingham on Monday night. -
Birmingham v Sheffield Mon 16th June PL

Well the views of the ring road looked free flowing with no hold ups…can’t remember seeing a builders bum in the pits…from every negative comes a positive and all that. -

To be brutally honest, absolute shambles. BSN commentators were poor. Track was a disgrace.both sets of riders not impressed with conditions or preparation ….after the recent GP’s any newbies who went or watched it on the stream must be thinking what an absolute sh7t show….sometimes British speedway does itself no favours at all. -
all things considered I was extremely proud of the racing dished up over the last two days at Belle Vue. For me the two most entertaining GP's so far this season and by far the most entertaining British GP for many a year. There will be some that will say the crowd figures were down on Cardiff but, and its a huge but the losses made by the organisers would of been drastically down if any. Well done to all concerned.
