  1. If it does happen Steve, I would like to say thanks to the leicester promotion for putting this on at such short notice, I know it costs you guys a lot of money to come over here, and for you to get meetings called off <Buxton> is a big hit for you, and your guys need all the experience they can get, once again well done Leicester. Will catch up with the guys at Monmore Wood on Tuesday, and hopefully Leicester on the 9th.
  2. Kev,thats what i mean, really these challenge matches are just fixture fillers, whereas a local League would hopefully draw in a few more spectators and the riders are racing for points. Neil, Thats where GB Speedway has fallen down, and now we having to pay for it, there are riders who have dropped out over recent seasons, ie Plymouth, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Sittingbourne reputedly wanted to enter the NL so there must be 28 riders around, relaxing the partriality rule 1 Commonwealth rider per team on an assesed realistic average, for 2/3 seasons only until we can get more coming through. so with the 28 who dropped out from defunct teams, 1 Commonwealth rider per Team, and the 1 Older rider per team we are not far away, add to this the Adam Portwoods,Paul Tyrers,James McBain,Adam? Greenwood, and similar others it could be done. I realise it is a development League, but sometimes we have to take a short term hit,for a longer term gain, and with additional PL/NL Teams testing the water, maybe 1 Commonwealth/American rider per Team is no bad thing as it will enable them to asses these riders under competitive conditions, rather than in after meeting laps.
  3. There may be a need for a NL competition that is not a full fixture list of maybe half a dozen meetings, split maybe on a North/South/Midlands basis this will enable Teams who are unable to commit to a full fixture list to run a NL Team, such as maybe Lakeside,Birmingham Bulls who could then run half a dozen local meaningful meetings rather than fixture filling challenge matches. North. Another. Sheffield. Workington. Redcar. Newcastle. Berwick. South. Lakeside. Sittingbourne. Rye House. Ipswich. Eastbourne. Another. Midlands. Dudley. Birmingham. Stoke. Swindon. Coventry. Leicester/Buxton. There could also with a little re-jigging be an Eastern Regional League Trophy, East. Kings Lynn. Mildenhall. Scunthorpe. Leicester. Ipswich. Another. Straight away i can think of maybe a name being the Midlands League Trophy, Northern League Trophy, and Southern League Trophy,if they wanted they could also enter KO Cup Nationally. This would be an ideal way to test the water for Teams not 100% sure of commiting to a full seasons racing in the NL. Yes maybe there would have to be a watering down of teams in the Trophy meetings to get the riders needed ie points limit to be 36/38 only for Trophy matches, but there are also some older riders out there without Teams <max 2 per team> who would love this oportunity. Lots of local derbies in there thats what the public wants, What are your thoughts on this ??. Ommer um Cradley
  4. Yep watching updates lastnight Michael "Rainman" Raines seems like he is the next live prospect on the American Dream Team, seemed very impressive.
  5. There is no point in having one, i think it was decided there would be No No8,s in the NL, but not 100% certain, and we dont all have a Stefan Nielsen in reserve .
  6. Doesnt matter, even if you have a number 8, he cant take the rides, happened to the Heathens earlier this season, may have been against Stoke, basically no point in having a number 8.
  7. This would be a good meeting to put on as a double header after the KO Cup final against Glasgow, which i have a feeling will draw a big crowd.
  8. Well,Well, Robbo certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons with his performance last night, I assume he would be a 3 point rider, and if that were the case then improvement on that appears to be a formality, so if The Heathens do decide to be "In it to Win it in 2012" he has to come into managements thoughts for a Team spot for 2012, well done Robbo.
  9. Have to agree with 84 cant see that Team being good enough.
  10. Thanks for that Vog, Yes i am referring to Simon Nielsen Workington, not Stefan who i am well aware is British, and rides for Scunthorpes NL Team,The other two are Thomas Jorgensen Scunthorpes PL Team, and Claus Nedermark Newcastle i think, all of these riders with the exception Of Stefan Nielsen were helped on there way by Sarah and Kelvin, and i am not knocking what they do,in fact it is admirable, because i fully realise how time consuming these Tours are to arrange and organise.
  11. The guys name is Mark Robinson, hope this helps.
  12. Hang on here, not against what you do Sarah/Kelvin for ALL youngsters, but Claus, the guy at Scunthorpe, and now Simon Nielsen i take it they are NOT keeping out British youngsters. ? Robbo has in the past, paid to hire Stoke Track for the guys to have a much needed Training session, so lets not get down to British/EU youngsters. I admire the time you put into helping youngsters, but lets not forget they were not all British.
  13. It is being held at Monmore on Tuesday October 11th, and has been revised now to Team GB Under 21 V USA Select.
  14. Sadly the meeting was abandoned doe to an electrical fault caused by a crash between Simmo and Kyle, Kyle has been taken to hospital, hope everything is okay with young Kyle, at times like this, the result is unimportant, Kyles dad has said he has been released from hospital, and reported that nothing serious just badly beaten up. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KOPIOWANIE TYLKO ZA ZGODĀ„ ADMINISTRATORA Please remember that these updates cost the texter and updater money, please don't ruin it for others by posting the score up before the updater has had a chance to update this screen All Updates will appear in this window, please feel free to post any comments below. 15. Yep,its Kyle Newman, great to see him back, just unfortunate the circumstances surrounding his return.
  16. Thanks for those words jack, but be Careful,it is not good form to compliment the Dudley Fans, No one really deserves to be bottom in an ideal world, but hey one thing is sure from there the only way is up.
  17. B,cuz we are all lost for words with whats gone on with the drastic loss of form just lately, but everything is just fine and dandy we are assured. Well done Buxton, and bad luck to the Heathens, hope armo is okay.
  18. Now is not the time for recriminations, bad luck to The Heathens, beaten by an undoutably better team, and well done to Stoke, all i will say it was compounded by the loss of our two reserves, which whilst in NO way would there loss have changed this result, it only went to make the result worse than what it could have be. Yes we have suffered in recent weeks with a loss of form and confidence, and Stoke were the wrong team to be riding against at this time, but we have to carry on, next up we go from riding against the Top of the League to meeting the Bottom of the League in Buxton, this is an oportunity to get some of that lost form and confidence back, and repay some of the faith shown by OUR fantastic supporters. Good and better luck next week guys, Ommer um but not by to many 46 - 44 will be fine get well soon Rich and Danny.
  19. And you should know hey Dekk, strong shoulders down at mighty Swindon LOL.
  20. Hey Steve You forgot to name YOUR GB Team...go on have a go at naming who you would,nt want to see against you,s.
  21. Hmm, No Heathens in their guys, in all honesty I think Kyle would be in their, but also Royno if fit, but i think it should include only riders who are primarily NL riders, The meeting needs to achieve two objectives, 1. For riders to gain much needed experience of International competition. 2.It also needs to be competitive and not ONE sided as that achieves nothing, which is Why I hope The USA include Under 22s from ALL those USA riders riding over here, Ricky Wells and is Tyson Under 22 ? to make it competitive these riders NEED to be included.
  22. As the Topic title implies, Pick your 8 riders NL Only who could represent GB Under 22,s against The USA overall Under 22,s, i will have to give it some thought as off the Top of my head its almost impossible, 8 man Team formulae.
  23. Well i aint commenting on that Montie, I can get in enough trouble without saying any more
  24. Great to see you back at Monmore Wood, hopefully one or two home riders will be in the Team, and as it is against GB under 22, maybe we can see eight rider teams, as this fixture is for riders to gain experience for the future, and 8 rider teams will help to that end.
  25. Taking a look at these averages, seems Jon Armstrong may well be a possibility, not to sure myself which average is applicable. http://www.dudleyheathens.co/statistics11.php I can only see one set of averages in there which is over 9.00 and thats his home average, His GSA is 8.65 and that seems to me must stand for Green Sheet Average, which makes him suitable to cover Cameron, i am not 100% sure about which averages apply, but i reckon he is the one, especially being ex Mildy.
