  9. What a mess up by Pedersen Thats two through to the final that have never won a GP Cn Nicholls make it three ?
  10. Get your Banjo out boys . . . think you may have to sing for your supper my money went on £20 on Leigh Adams @ 10/1 £5 e/w on Tomasz Gollob @ 28/1
  11. Thought it was a pretty good start to the series and have to say that Nicki was brilliant in the final coming from last to first off turn two like that and then holding off Crumpie like that. Although as a Wolves fan, I like many more Wolves fans will never join the Danger Mouse fan club, it was no suprise how he did so well as he is becoming possibly the best rider around today and now proving it. Thought I was onto a winner at the bookies as I had £20 on Leigh Adams at 10/1 but at least got some back with £5 e/w at 28/1 for Tomasz Gollob. As for Steve Turners game, I bet on Nicki and Crumpie
  12. LIVE UPDATES If anyone doesnt have Sky then they can follow the updates here not in bold Steve
  13. Even if he does lift the title, in mine and many more peoples eyes, he will not be the greatest of all time. He just happens to have been dominant in an era lacking the world class stars and the birth of the GP series that has given him 5 of his 6 titles. While I take nothing away from TRicks brilliant skills, the fact Mauger had to do it against the likes of Briggs, Fundin, Olsen, Collins etc etc proves his worth while Hans Nielsen would have surely won at least four more titles if it wasnt for the fall at Bradford, the presence of Gundersen and only being able to ride in a few years of the GP era. Gollob was in the 1993 final, so really this is 13th time lucky for Gollob If injuries stay clear, I believe it will be between Nicki Pedersen and Jason Crump this season with possibly a suprise third place for Andreas Jonsson or Bjarne Pedersen.
  14. Oh yes . . . The Cabbage patch kids
  15. WEMBLEY STADIUM WEB SITE If it takes a week to build hold and dismantle a track for an atletics meeting, then surely in the football close season as the British GP is, could this be a possible venue for Speedway once more. This may be a dream, but surely it could happen if talks are held as laying a running track and speedway track are possible.
  16. T.N.T.

    Hans Nielsen

Hans also still holdsthe record of most Gold FIM medals which I believe was 22. Think this will stay a record for a long time now as their is no longer the Pairs title to race for. He may have won 2 less than TRick, but Hans was the better rider
  17. With Redcar now opening, I came across a web site that showed former Boro and Teesdide riders on it and came across this picture of Tom. Tom always kept his Wolves race jackets and even when racing in the pre75's on the grass he still had an old Wolves bike cover until it was pinched. TOM LEADBITTER - Teeside (Wolves racejacket)
  18. Has Chris Holder got any English parentage or relatives and is he due over here as there has been rumours he is coming over on a 3.00 average and likley to be at Ipswich or Belle Vue. PS. RW Roost - you are now third heat leader at Reading on a 7.50 average in the BSFRL. Click on Fixtures and Updates or top link of my signature to see whats going on
  19. Same here Hans Nielsen was the best
  20. Lee Richardson scored 20 in one GP, thats an assessed total of 180 over the season ! While I like NKI, I cant see him really threatening the top 8 or even top 10 after the half way stage and should enjoy his ONE season in the Series. ODDS ON THE WOODEN SPOON (fictional) 5/1 Richardson 4/1 Lindback 2/1 Protasiewicz 6/4 Iversen 5/4 Zagar Peter Karlsson, Rune Holta, Hans Andersen, Mark Loram, David Norris ETC all have better claims to the GP series than he does. Think Zagar will finish bottom near to Iversen. Cant believe you have actually sided with a British rider actually
  21. If every rider gets through the season pain free, it will be clear to see how well the three new boys will do. Tony Rickardsson, Jason Crump, Nicki Pedersen, Greg Hancock and Leigh Adams are well above them and will no doubt all be in the top 8 again. Bjarne Pedersen, Andreas Jonsson, Scott Nicholls, Tomasz Gollob, Jaroslaw Hampel and Antonio Lindback will fight for the other three places and which ever doesnt make it will be nominated for 2007 anyway. Thats the TOP 11 sorted, leaving Richardson, Protasiewicz, Zagar and Iversen as also rans and the most likley to be left out for 2007. possible betting for 2007 2/1 Tony Rickardsson 9/4 Jason Crump 3/1 Nicki Pedersen 5/1 Leigh Adams 6/1 Greg Hancock 8/1 Andreas Jonsson 10/1 Scott Nicholls 10/1 Bjarne Pedersen 12/1 Tomasz Gollob 12/1 Jaroslaw Hampel 20/1 Antonio Lindback 25/1 Lee Richardson 33/1 Piotr Protasiewicz 50/1 Neils K Iversen 50/1 Matej Zagar
