Redcar vs Poole BSN SF 2nd leg 20th May
Robinh88 replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Poole will take some stopping.... -
In my fairly limited opinion nothing wrong with the track as the U21 meeting proved 10 years ago.
-
Full max for Douglas today in Poland.

Redcar v Newcastle Select 24/3

Never seen a poor meeting in the last two years at Redcar. Nice stadium - a competitive side with a track condusive to good racing. -
On paper a great signing but his success will depend on what machinery he is running. Well done Ipswich - that's a hell of a coup..
-
Agreed, he averaged 9 in six seasons for different clubs. If he gets an injury free run I think a nine point average is very achievable. 10... Nope - think that will be Masters and Douglas (if he has what we had under him last year).
-
Think he was 9.85 in all comps post the finale. Saw Richard last year at Redcar looking for his team mate to get a bonus point or two. He plays the averages a treat, fair play to him.
-
Barker did very well considering he's carrying a stone or two extra. Good to see him back.
-
Why is Gary may saying howarth is an out and out number one? Based off one good season?
-
How Claus Vissing gets 'another' gig in this division baffles me after his turn out or lack of turn out for Birmingham. Be interesting to see how Bomber goes this time round for Glasgow.
-
Schlein will do a solid job I think. Should average 8... Ish!!!
-
Pretty sure Laguta would finish 2nd next year minimum next year.

Redcar v Scunthorpe Jubilee cup 5/8/22

Not the finest meeting at Redcar tonight. Douglas was as expected a cut above after a third in the first race. Sooner Redcar get Riss back fit the better. Not sure what Wright was riding tonight but struggling out the traps and passed by Tero Aarnio. Crap! Well done Scunthorpe... Would have won with Jake Allen -
Scunny v Leicester 22.7.22 Platty Joobs thing

Good meeting that - Scunthorpe never dissapoints. Sadly no Nick Morris but such as life. -
Easy win for Redcar. Wells looked a shadow of the rider tonight compared to when he came with Glasgow last year. Props to Berwick getting Knudsen, looks rather stylish and dialled in immediately.

Poole Pirates Vs Berwick Bandits 29/6/22

Can't be many riders down the years that have gone to Poole and scored a six ride maximum? 20 years later he is every bit as good as he was when he visited with Trelawny two decades ago. -
Best speedway YouTube channel out there. Paul and the guys/girls leading the way.

Don't blame Madsen really. A big meeting is never going to be held at Armadale or Brough Park. Moreover he hasn't done badly giving the UK a wide berth since then. With more purpose built tracks in Britain being built I think this could be very good for the longevity of the Sport in the UK. That being said I saw a very good meeting at Leicester last week. Not a place synonymous with good/great races previously.

10.6.22 - Scunny v Glasgow, League

Class act... Glad to see him doing well. Good looking bloke too what is not to like? -
Ruml's slight mishap in Heat 14 was enough to swing the balance. Thought the meeting catapulted into life at the end and again the fans were served a treat. Always enjoy watching Charles Wright and was back to his vintage best tonight. Erik Riss is a classy rider to have at number three and made his thirteen look fairly easy. Redcar delivers again on track shame it is Newcastle next.
