  1. Pre last night I think we would have finished 3rd or 4th in the table and like Leicester in 2012 struggled in the playoffs... Edberg makes us stronger at home he may score the points that will keep us unbeaten at home, we don't have any weak riders anymore similar to Edinburgh. He's averaging the same as Palovaara in Sweden (maybe tells you something about Glasgow's scouting system).. I think Liam has made great strides this year. I'm sure he's gutted but he's a better rider for it.
  2. I believe the Crazy Golf will be back in full swing..... Watch our performances plummet
  3. Fans as in sheep you mean? His scores are no better than Bergstrom's in Sweden (on the plus side Viktor not Andreas) But blame the fans, not the promotion who surely did there research and well signed him anyway. Glasgow have a decent middle - bottom end for next year potentially they don't need another 5-6 point rider. They need some guys getting double figures up top. I think Palovaara is a awful signing but that's just my opinion.
  4. Wolbert hasn't had a good meeting at Berwick yet. Glasgow in the time I've followed Speedway have had the better Number Ones Watson, Parker, Stancl in his earlier days McGowan Bird, and Screen. The Swede is a dud.
  5. Ippo are a top side on there day when all pull together Been under performing all season Don't expect anything from Scunny tonight Good scores from Jensen and Visser though
  6. doesn't look anything great, sadly for glasgow, re-build for next year Cant believe Glasgow employed Wolbert as long as they did
  7. I am sure Apator Torun are waiting on Edinburgh's finest to sign the dotted line
  8. wouldn't retain him next season... me and emilali have discussed this in detail
  9. He was a quality No1 in 1991 We'd rather have folk who wanna play crazy golf
  10. there's a place at Number 5 I believe
  11. Be intrested to get George M's personal report on Steen Jensen Just saying
  12. There are some awful teams in the PL this year berift of ambition might be a few more away wins for the Bandits...
  13. Well done to the Monarchs they are human they will lose meetings but they got back to winning ways no messing about and showed no mercy. I admire the Monarchs there domestic record speaks volumes, there riders seem to enjoy racing for them and enjoy sucess. Cook's twitter should be banned huge ego little talent away from Belle Vue and the lofty heights of the PL. As for the Bandits well it was an embarrasment but we've had plenty under the Andersons and we will have plenty more howlers. We are not run the same way as Edinburgh. That being said Edinburgh make errors also. Generally this season at Berwick results have been a big improvement. I would question where some of the Bandits riders intentions lie like I do most seasons. Maybe those will be weeded out next season but overall we still have a good side and with some positive tinkering next year could be up there competing again
  14. I look forward to Eddie's post mortem... should be a right laugh....
  15. depends on the rider, barker has made some great passes.. Stead, Watson to name a few others
  16. home win by 6 Dimitri Berge to be the match winner...
  17. Berwick fans would like there 7 riders to be 100% committed to there fixtures Our fans care what our riders do riding for us It has been a refreshing seeing two of our boys doing rather well on foreign shores, that being being said as Dick said himself 90% of fans only care about Saturday home meetings. Clearly one of the boys, 12 points against Dross House next week and all will be forgiven. Will Bellego be banned?
  18. I always look forward to visiting Brough Park. It's intimidating but the fans are very passionate If I wasn't a Bandit I'd love to stand in the Curva Brough with the Newcastle Tifosi
