I haven't called anyone anything... I have explained what I feel and why until I'm blue in the face, you bandwogoners just refuse to consider anything other than constant berating, for to be perfectly honest rather silly reasons. If constantly saying "I see Tai for what he is.." makes you feel better then carry on posting it. I on the other hand appreciate what Tai has done for UK speedway and Team GB during the past 3 or 4 years, without him we would be even further behind the bigger nations than we are now. Yes he could do some of the things he has in a more professional manner, however he obviously wears his heart on his sleeve and doesn't think before speaking. Most of us suffer from that from time to time too!! If you're happy to carry on watching British speedway fall further and further behind Poland, Sweden, Denmark and even Russia these days then that's fine, however Tai obviously felt he had something to offer to assist with progress in this country but that hasn't been embraced by the powers that be. Why should he continue to ride his arse off when we have absolutely no-one who can give him some back up as he's so far ahead of everyone else in the UK it's ridiculous?!? I also find it rather amusing that many on here are saying 'good riddance' etc. etc. I don't think you'll be saying that hen we get an embarrassing thumping from one of the minor nations in next years SWC. How can that be positive in any way shape or form? In fact getting such a tonking will only have a negative effect on those that do in fact turn out for Team GB.

Oh dear oh dear. It would appear very few of us are willing to consider things from a wider perspective. Jumping on the 'I hate Tai because he's outspoken and has turned his back on the Team GB' bandwagon is quite simply childish IMO.

I quite agree with all of that. How anyone can question Tai's commitment to British speedway as a whole over the past 4 or 5 years is beyond me. And before the usual suspects start, not riding in the British Final has nothing to do with wanting the very best for up and coming British riders....which is obviously something Tai feels passionately about. Have you seen any British riders publicly say anything negative about Tai? No, but plenty (especially the younger riders) have stated how Tai has helped them. Tai is the first British rider to seriously try to get the BSPA to change their ways and improve things for the future, but they seem intent on remaining the obstinate bunch of buffoons they have been for donkeys. Just about everyone is in agreement that British speedway needs a monumental shake up so Tai has given that a go - but yet a number on here are berating him for trying to do exactly what you say needs doing!! No wonder the kid has had enough (for now).

What's your problem? All I've asked you to do is stop quoting "All Poole fans this and Most Poole fans that" as it's not correct in the context you persist in using it! That's a pretty reasonable request, however you say it's bullying Jeez, I feel sorry for some one that has a real issue with you...then again you just block 'em because you can't take the heat. Persisting to speak on behalf of others and making statements in which you quote "others" agree with you is not acceptable whether you like it or not, particularly as I'm in this group you constantly refer to. Oh and if I was this 'bully' you describe surely I would have received the same treatment as your jester in crime, the Tai hater and quite possibly you yourself in previous years. Now read the above, absorb it and have a Time to move on FFS. I have one issue with one particular poster...so yes, I guess that makes me the Forum Police Priceless and rather hilarious. Are you starman? What are you on about? I comment on practically ALL Poole threads as it's the team I've supported without wavering since I was taken to Wimborne Road by my father when I was a littlun'. I still go regularly with him (stand between bends 1 and 2 and I follow Poole around the country occasionally too, work allowing. I live near Southampton and as I've stated previously on other threads my mother used to babysit for MIddlo when he was a toddler (parents lived in Boscombe then - and Bournemouth is my home town) way before I came along. I can't be any more transparent than that. So yes, I'm Gavan I would normally respond to your Middlo comments, however I'd best not as I'd only be posting in reply to myself (apparently!).

OMG! Are you thick? Do you not recall yesterdays posts? I read your posts as they are written...by some one who thinks their opinion is the only opinion permitted and that opinion is shared by all or most Poole supporters. I have picked YOU up, and ONLY you for continually making that statement because I feel it's not accurate many of the times you post it in relation to Poole speedway and it's supporters. All I have asked is for you to STOP posting that about our club and our fellow supporters as we have our own opinions and don't need a self righteous nobody to make statements on our behalf. I have said that a number of times now but you just come back with more guff like your above post. Gavan has nothing to do with things and he is a poster I certainly have no beef with as he, like myself, can see you for what you're trying to portray yourself to be. Now for the love of God let things go and stop speaking on the clubs supporters behalf on here. That is all I'm asking. Blood and stone come to mind here....

Oh dear oh dear, not only do you often speak on Poole supporters behalves, you now put words into their mouths. And how you've summed up what you have from what I posted is beyond me. You are one strange individual.

It wasn't an argument it was just a thought as clearly stated. Tai doesn't want to run the company (BSPA), just have some input so your 'argument' doesn't hold up

I know, he'd make a fantastic court jester -
That's because they're a country mile behind Tai and have nothing else to fall back on i.e. World titles etc. None of them are world class, unlike Tai. This thread is becoming as laughable as the 'Should Tai Ride for Team GB' thread...keep it up folks Let's have a go at putting things into perspective; Imagine you're at work and are working your arse off carrying 3 other folk who were not performing at anywhere near the level you are and you are the sole reason why your company/team/section (whatever) excelled but your boss gave you no recognition at all even though you've consistently outperformed and far exceeded the other members of your team/section. Maybe, just maybe that's how Tai feels. Just a thought.

It's not delusion. You constantly speak on all of our behalves, you constantly post your own opinion which you claim is "Most or All of Poole fans think..." and you won't listen to anybody who has a view different to your own. You also took a sabbatical supposedly because you were 'sick of things' on this forum due to folk having a different opinion to yourself. Have strong views, yes, but stop quoting that your view is that of "Most or All" of Poole supporters. That's all I'm saying. If you can't do that then yes you come across as someone who sees themselves as a mouthpiece for Poole speedway! -
BOOM! Great post

I said stop posting as if the world has ended, not stop posting! Try reading what's written.

What Changes Have To Be Made In 2017?

To be honest I find it rather strange that a fellow supporter of Poole speedway can have the gall to present himself as some kind of spokesperson for our club. Constantly making statements on our behalf is just not on. Putting folk on ignore is fine, but you will never see their responses so it only comes across to everyone else as a one sided argument (to some) when most of us would call it discussion. It's also rather childish. I have never put anyone on ignore and I doubt I ever will because I'm grown up enough to openly discuss things with anyone. Anyway, back on topic... -

To be honest and after recent events I think Tai Woffinden could answer the title of this topic better than any of us..! -
Time For Teamgb To Move On Without Woffinden.

Another spot on post Gresham. If only some of the other forum members were open to the bigger picture than what they envisage in their tiny worlds. For the benefit of SS -

OMG, you really do love yourself don't you. Why create yet another Tai thread??? Utterly pointless. Oh and who are these reliable sources? I could very easily claim the opposite. So not only do you feel British speedway doesn't need Tai You are also calling Rosco a complete and utter liar with his comments he made during the SGP at the weekend. Really? REALLY? -
Nailed it Gresham Another voice of reason Tai has decided to give Team GB a miss for 1 year, yes just 1 year as he's not happy about certain things which he won't make public. Personally I think that's quite a professional attitude to have as it alleviates any further public bad press. A decision has been made so that's the end of it. Why do any of us (yes myself included) have any right to know all the details? We don't. The world hasn't come to an end so some of you need to stop posting like it has. Jeez.

It's called a typo...something which is incredibly common to yourself! You are a complete as you contradict yourself right there!!!! You're correct, it is your PERSONAL view so for the love of God stop saying "All Poole fans..." or "Most Poole fans..." This is one of your most common phrases and to say you don't post that is complete and utter nonsense. I could give you countless examples (just look back over the past couple of pages!) but I really can't be arsed as you are seriously blinkered and obviously have no idea what you posted yesterday let alone last week! I have not been gunning for an argument at all, I have called you up on a valid point because you are not the Messiah of Poole speedway you seem to think you are. You're exactly the same as me, a terrace fan with an opinion, your OWN opinion so stop speaking on behalf of the rest of us! I cannot be any clearer than that. Thanks Gavan, he really doesn't do our club any favours with his strong view which is 100% correct 100% of the time according to him. The rest of us aren't allowed to disagree...God forbid us if we do. I've sorted that for him Lisa -

I do not know I'm in the minority at all! You need to start posting "IN MY OPINION most Poole fans..." My point is you repeatedly want to come across as our mouth peace and NEWSFLASH - you're not! I'm sick of you making sweeping statements about our club by way of "All Poole fans this..." and "All Poole fans that..." etc. etc. Have your opinion, but STOP quoting it's the same for most or all of the rest of us as often your blinkered and biased view is not shared by us all. Edited especially for Poole's very own town crier....Mr Steve Shovlar!!!!! -
Well put fella

There you go again...and I didn't say you said all?!? You said 'most' and you have absolutely no idea whether that statement is correct. All you have is a couple of forum members agreeing that the SEC is a tin pot compy and Hans should therefore ride for us instead. I stand by my post as you CANNOT speak for 'most' Poole fans on the strength of the above. In any case, Matt Ford would be aware of the clash and as of yet hasn't publicly criticised Hans. That has far more weight than your personal opinion - and that's all that it is. Yes I'm disappointed that Hans may ride on Saturday afternoon in the SEC, however what I won't do is say that this opinion is the same for 'most' of our supporters. Now get off your soap box. -
Having read and contributed on the 'Should Tai Ride for Team GB' thread and having read this thread so far, I have come to the conclusion that this forum only really has a handful of real UK speedway fans who take the time to consider what their posting and the reason they are posting it. The rest seem to just use this forum to moan, whinge, attack other forum members and crucify UK speedway. Tai has tweeted something and all those which fall into the second category above are off and running, whilst the very few in the first category are keeping things on planet earth. There is nothing official (that I'm aware of) that has been released, just a tweet from an obviously unhappy Tai Woffinden. Let's be grown up and wait and see what happens in the next 24-48hrs before we all act like children and use the tweet as yet another excuse to berate Britain's best by an absolute country mile. I for one will be doing that, however I'm sure that those as described above will carry on like children in a candy shop now you have a nugget of ammo. So very, very sad.
