  1. It's not what he writes it's how he expresses himself. He often comes across as an angry numpty, well he does to me 😁
  2. Putting things bluntly, sidney you are a complete and utter numpty and starman2006 lives in loony land
  3. Let's be honest, if fellow Pirates supporters can't get through to him then what hope has anyone else got? To be fair though, Darcy has let himself (as well as Poole Speedway, his other clubs and ALL his fans throughout the world) down...maybe that is what Starman was attempting to say? Or am I just being a bit too sensible with logic...something which is obviously a struggle in some quarters
  4. I don't think it's a case of us wanting Magic over Darcy, it's more a fact that Magic is available NOW and Darcy isn't. If both riders were available as normal and Darcy hadn't been a plonker (yet again!) then I can pretty well guarantee that the majority of Poole supporters would want Darcy Ward every time. However, in current circumstances Magic is the obvious and sensible option we have assuming Matt Ford isn't going to wait any longer. However, there is no guarantee that Magic would accept to ride bearing in mind he's only wanted if Darcy gets a ban. I originally stated on here that Darcy should do his time and Poole move on, however as the weeks have gone by and things are still not resolved I'm beginning to think that the situation is not as clear cut as the FIM would have us believe which can only be positive for Darcy...or am I being naive?
  5. I dispair.... I think I've seen it all now, Ronald McDonald calling others clowns...quite astonishing methinks! p.s. it's 'there' not 'their'
  6. Heart says Tai (the only 'Brit' who is capable of winning it) but head says Noddy (if he stays fit). However you can never count out the Grin or the Dirty Dwarf who really seems to want it and both KK and NKI are great shouts too. Thrown in Magic and Doyley and on paper it looks like 2015 should be a good year. On a personal note I hope Magic shows well as he's a really likeable plucky fella who has become very popular at Poole due to his reliability and effort which has been 100%, 100% of the time during the past couple of seasons. Looking forward to tapes up in March!
  7. No not at all. Maybe that was a poor choice of phrase...it's plain to see that he would benefit from some moral guidance rather than being defended and having excuses made from the club management on his past misdemeanours. That is what I was trying to infer.
  8. I don't think I will on both accounts. I thought that he might take a little more notice if a fellow Pirate told him the obvious, however as you say he will never get it as anything posted which he doesn't like or agree with is labelled 'anti Poole'. He's become a bit of an embarassment to many of us which is why I thought I'd have a go at trying to get through to the fella, but alas no joy. For what it's worth my thoughts are that the length of time the FIM are taking to get the hearing date in place is criminal itself! As I said previously, I'd love Darcy to be one of our 1-5 in 2015, however if he isn't then we just have to move on and hope this is the incident which gives him the wake up call he so desperately needs! Personally I agree that any ban he may receive (be it 6 months, 12 months or longer) should be served during the speedway season and not the closed season as that will hit home far harder. And believe me that hurts to say as he's part of our speedway family and losing him for some or much of next year will without a doubt affect on our season....but he has got to learn, and learn fast. At bit of discipline from within the club wouldn't go amiss too...are you reading Middlo and co?
  9. There really is no helping you is there? You are the first poster (since KKS and all his aliases) I have considered putting on ignore (which is a pretty sad thing to be said bearing in mind we are both huge Poole Pirates supporters) as you go on and on and on and on and on and on banging out the same line time and time again. I'm going to give it one last go to see if you read, digest and actually accept the below; IT IS NOT A POOLE THING GODAMMIT!!!!!!!
  10. It doesn't look like there's much wrong with Emil having a practice at Torun a few days go... http://www.speedwayeuro.com/video/74/ or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IllC1dQLNds
  11. Bomber is in. There is nothing that can be done to change it. Whining and moaning about it here changes nothing, so for Gawds sake just move on. Best of luck Bomber, I'll be cheering for you throught 2014 and see you at Cardiff
  12. All is revealed on the speedway GP site, link here.... http://speedwaygp.com/news/article/2776/king-cops-challenge-wild-card
  13. On all the Poole threads you 'claim' that you're a Poole Pirates supporter...and before I go, how's the love affair (read fantasy) triangle with MJJ and THJ going???
  14. Ours always have! If somebody is not home, they come back and re-deliver and get them signed for. Never had tickets from them any other way.
  15. I must confess to having had a similar situation to those above a few years ago after buying tickets from Ticketmaster. They never arrived and I had to collect reprints on the day from a ticket office nearby. I had a suspicion that they were going to end up in the hands of a tout... and low and behold when we got to our seats, a young couple were already sat in them! We then explained things to a steward who requested the couple show us their tickets - and sure enough they had my name on them which proved that they were the original tickets which had be 'sent' to me by Ticketmaster weeks before! To be fair the couple did fess up and say they bought them from a tout outside the staduium so they were duly ejected. My theory about Ticketmaster is that somebody at the company who is supposed to 'post' the tickets out grabs a handful or two for themself to sell on to anyone who will buy them thus making a quick buck. I'm just glad Seetickets are now used as they send their tickets by registered post and need a signature which matches the name on the order upon delivery or they are not received. Ticketmaster, I hope you are reading this as you are a complete joke!
  16. Pre-meeting entertainment has been announced... http://speedwaygp.com/news/article/2520/trials-icon-bou-set-for I remember about 4 or 5 years ago there was a moto X team doing stunts etc. It was pretty good so I suggest this will be worth seeing.
  17. I assume you mean commentate, Keith Heuwen hosted on Sky's coverage!
  18. I personally would be gutted if the Speedway GP's are not televised live this (or in future) years. My father and I have fab GP Saturday nights together...few beers, snacks etc. whilst watching the most exciting motor sport in the world. Come on Sky (or anyone other broadcaster), sort this out NOW!!! At present there is a transition in riders, the older guys retiring with fantastically exciting younger riders moving up and this is going to continue during the next few years. Why would Sky want to drop the GP'S when the likes of Holder, Ward and Emil have now broken through. These guys racing with Nasty Nikki, Gollob and the ever youthful Hancock etc. etc. will be fantastic racing. So once again I say, COME ON SKY, WE WANT THE GP COVERAGE TO CONTINUE THIS YEAR AND FOR MANY YEARS. You know it makes sense
