  1. So start off a thread about him then!! Well done Bomber
  2. Its good that Smederna are being open about their situation rather than painting a rosy picture that some clubs do when all is not well. Im glad that a team seems to be in place aswell, Speedway Star must be someway behind in overseas news as it made the situation sound ten times worse in this weeks edition. I'm Happy to see Rory fixed up with a team spot and I wish your team well for next season Tarabanko. I'll be at both Swedish GP's next season. Roll on 2007.
  3. Not looking too good though for the Blacksmiths next year. Have read in the Speedway Star that the club is reported to have debts of several Millions, 800,000 Kr at least needing to be paid before the end of the year to avoid bankruptcy. Hamill has signed for Masarna, Nicholls has signed for Bajen, Kim Jansson is on his to Kaparna and Morten Risager doesn't look like he will be back. I have also read that Matej Ferjan was interested in joining but he demanded too much money. Financially, things must be in a bad way if a team can't afford Ferjan!! Has the club signed Jagus yet Tarabanko? Hope things get worked out for the club. I had an excellent time there for the GP in may, but at the moment it would would seem a very uncertain time.
  4. Well done Chris. This is fantastic news. With Scott getting the nod as well it should be a great night on Friday at Brandon when we will hopefully win the Cup as well. A great end to the season.
  5. Give it to the Mighty Harris. His showing last week in Vetlanda is worthy of a pick and he soundly beat the likes of Pepe, Ryan, NKI etc...... Harris for GP 2007!!!
  6. Yes, he prefered to do his business with a tramp in a lay by on the M6.
  7. Where will he be then? There is only Coventry that can afford to pay him other than Belle Vue..... and we have no need for him. He had his chance last year and blew it!!
  8. So that means that Olsen, Gundersen, Nielsen, Mauger (one short of Greatness in the Shovler world of Speedway......damn) are not great riders? They must be SO disappointed to have not lived up to your rating
  9. Good God!!! This is Speedway not a "Knitting Class". Its hard racing from both parties. Not shaking hands, rivalry between teams and riders.....its all good stuff.
  10. Well done Chris and Martin. I am very pleased for both of them The line up for the final looks like a tough one. If Harris and Stead can catch the eye then maybe a chance of Wild Cards. Shame about Rory yesterday Does anybody know what Billy got, or if he actually made it to Hungary?
  11. This is fantastic. Thanks Tarabanko. Me and Captain Marvel were at the Piraterna V Luxo match so this is great to see it again. Thanks
  12. Why should Rickardsson not doing so well have an adverse afftect on the crowd? It will be a good chance to give him a good booing. I don't think he will last the full season now that his heart and head are not in it.
  13. He has stomach flu according to his web site Tabby. Sure he will be ok for Saturday though
  14. I too would love an interview with TK. Have to agree Neil, TK was definitely the best rider never to win the world final. I remember when I was little and he bought his bike to our school, i think for the school fete, and we all had pictures taken on it. A true team man in every sence of the word having been bought up under the wing of another true great Ole, who after just looking through my Back Tracks we haven't had too much on either.
  15. I'm not having a go at KK. If you read my post carefully then you will see that I have congratulated him on winning the event. My opinion is that he did not win it for Poole Speedway. He won it as an individual event for himself and his country. Ok if Poole fans want to claim a victory for them, then fine. If he is their favourite rider and they wanted him to win from the start then fair enough. I was proud when AJ won as a Bees fan, but he didn't do it for Coventry did he. Nor did any of those Ipswich riders do it for Ipswich, but I don't blame you for being proud of them. Rightly so. Infact Pepe was nothing to do with Ipswich when he won and he still isn't. None of the Poole fans seem to picking me up on it. Only you. This is my opinion and i'm entitled to it. I've got more to say but I don't want to offend you.....
  16. What are you on about Robyn? Why are you bringing Coventry into this. I'm not blaming KK. He can't help the rain can he. If that is the way the powers that be decide on the winner then so be it. But it isn't a win for Poole. He has done it for Poland and himself. Once again, Well done KK. U-21 Champ for Poland.
  17. Bet you would be singing a different tune if KK wasn't on top after the meeting was called off. The meeting should be re-run properly. Fans have been short changed in attending the event, and riders who still had a chance of winning have been denied the chance to claim the title.
  18. I've course i would be pleased for him but it's not for Coventry is it. It's for himself and his Country. Its a world championship not a Coventry team event. Well done KK. The under 21 champ for Poland......not Poole!
  19. This has nothing to do with Poole. Its an individual event and the riders represent their country. 1-2 for Poole. You will try and cling on to anything at the moment.
  20. He will be able to get some new hats made now..... and you can all buy one.
