Sheffield V Glasgow Po Semi-final 21 Sep
The Third Man replied to SharpenRake's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If we get through the first leg is at Sheffield on Thursday, if we don't it will be Redcar -
this match needs changing to be the first leg of the playoffs if we qualify
-
think Sheffield have had Josh Auty, Joe Screen, Scott Smith & Max Clegg
-
And the referee exclude George Wood at Sheffield the other week when he ran into a rider who had already fallen, referees get it wrong
-
But the cup could prioritised, First round over by the end of April Second round over by the end of June Semi Finals by the end of August then the final. might need some changes in fixtures, not exactly unheard of in speedway, this gives enough time for the weather not to matter However it would need the promoters to cooperate, that's the big problem
-
If that is true it would mean Sheffield winning the relegation play off if they qualify because those are our two nights Other possibility is Sunday which I don't think would work
-
Will take a 3-3 with Josh G at the back out of trouble
-
Was hoping Kurtz would get a run out in this meaningless meeting ahead of the Play Off semi

Relegation And Promotion Play Offs
The Third Man replied to flagrag's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No date in the Leicester fixtures about this meeting -
Are these the rules that allowed Branford to ride for Sheffield when there was one clash and Rye House when there was another clash?
-
Would imagine Bates would ride for Sheffield as he is our asset, not sure about Bjerre although we did sign him first, if that even matters more of a problem for me would be the fact that if it is Sheffield and Leicester then there is a massive conflict of interest looking at the owners / promoters of the respective teams

Sheffield Tigers V Edinburgh Monarchs.
The Third Man replied to graz gp's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It will depend on which track the owner / promoter wants to be in what league, it could be a result decided by economic off track matters rather than on track matters
