  1. based on last season and seeing him a few times at Sheffield this season and on TV, perhaps they were the only times this season he has done that, must have been unlucky when I have seen him, If I am wrong then so be it
  2. Agree with this, greaves usually panics when riders go under him, he did it all last season at Sheffield, and again Thursday night when Kurtz went under him in heat six and he moved right out which caused Graj to hurt himself trying to avoid him. and greaves went no where near the fence he fell off in the middle of the straight with plenty of room to manoeuvre out of Scotts way. and about the booing, it started before heat 1 so it wasn't because of the greaves incident, it was a few Ipswich fans who didn't want him to accept a booking against them, how many fans would have turned down a pay day, or turn down the opportunity to ride in such a meeting
  3. The other thing about Bewley everyone seems to be missing is that it made Glasgow stronger tonight. they had a capable replacement in Campton (especially as the Glasgow fans seem to think Bewley isn't trying for them) and it allowed Summer to take one of the RR rides instead of a reserve. Perhaps it wasn't BVs idea for him to miss this meeting, or is there evidence that it was
  4. Looks like having Campton means Summers can now have RR ride, wonder whos idea it was for Bewley to be injured?
  5. Looks like Bewley has decided he has a better chance of getting to a play off final with Belle Vue
  6. Hopefully you have too long a tail tonight, Sheffield need to just to go for 3-3s pack the minor places
  7. If we get through the first leg is at Sheffield on Thursday, if we don't it will be Redcar
  8. Simple solution is just to use the cup dates for the play off final, if we get through, as the teams for the other semi final wont be sorted out this season anyway
  9. this match needs changing to be the first leg of the playoffs if we qualify
  10. At least it gives time for the rounds to be completed, and i missed where it was supposed to be a start of the season competition, sorry
  11. think Sheffield have had Josh Auty, Joe Screen, Scott Smith & Max Clegg
  12. And the referee exclude George Wood at Sheffield the other week when he ran into a rider who had already fallen, referees get it wrong
  13. But the cup could prioritised, First round over by the end of April Second round over by the end of June Semi Finals by the end of August then the final. might need some changes in fixtures, not exactly unheard of in speedway, this gives enough time for the weather not to matter However it would need the promoters to cooperate, that's the big problem
  14. If that is true it would mean Sheffield winning the relegation play off if they qualify because those are our two nights Other possibility is Sunday which I don't think would work
  15. Sheffield will have completed their home matches and be up to date with cup matches as well We can't control away matches I'm afraid Sheffield will have completed their home matches and be up to date with cup matches as well We can't control away matches I'm afraid
  16. I thought there was a set date that all ties needed to completed by Obviously I was wrong but why isn't there a date for each round to be Completed If you haven't completed then who ever is causing the hold up forfeits the tie Or is that too simple
  17. Will take a 3-3 with Josh G at the back out of trouble
  18. Was hoping Kurtz would get a run out in this meaningless meeting ahead of the Play Off semi
  19. Simple solution, if the other four cant sort themselves out make Ipswich v Sheffield the final
  20. The Sheffield v Ipswich match is arranged so we might know one finalist before the quarter finals are sorted out
  21. just like to add i wish he could get four rides once in a while, thursday night was the perfect oportunity to put him in heat 14 with nothing to lose
  22. totally agree with this, the booing was for one of the worst refereeing decisions I have seen, what was McGregor looking at, it certainly wasn't the race. we all applauded tero when he got up
  23. Are these the rules that allowed Branford to ride for Sheffield when there was one clash and Rye House when there was another clash?
  24. Would imagine Bates would ride for Sheffield as he is our asset, not sure about Bjerre although we did sign him first, if that even matters more of a problem for me would be the fact that if it is Sheffield and Leicester then there is a massive conflict of interest looking at the owners / promoters of the respective teams
