  1. Totally agree,i was just saying the way Lynn have to do it within the current rules.
  2. That's why i liked your post,i understood what you said.I just got a bit carried away with how some people view the good old days. And that wasn't you by the way.
  3. People do get a bit stuck back in the good old days.I liked it because there were bigger crowds, better atmosphere, more villain riders and i was younger. The actual racing wasn't as good as some of them pretend it to be,they have just got carried away with the above and your mind thought automatically thinks the racing was excellent.I look back on several old meetings from the 70's,80's and the racing was maybe slightly better but not as good as some pretend it to be. It's a bit like Cardiff,i love it for the atmosphere and big crowd. But you get home and watch it again and think did i really enjoy the racing the answer would be no but you just get carried away with everything else.A bit like in the good old days really.
  4. This is why i said the only way to get both in is,Douglas for Proctor now or before the end of June.Douglas will then be on 4.65.Then in July the team average will be 39.83.So 2.67+3.34=6.01 you can easily get Riss in for Lambert. You have to get rid of Proctor while he's on his June average and bring in Douglas while he's on his June average to make it work.
  5. You are correct Riss could come in straight away to replace Ty.But come July his average will be above Ty's as long as the website has their averages correct. The way i am looking at it i really hope they will fit both Riss and Douglas in the team for Proctor and S.Lambert.But for this to happen they have to be quite clever, that's as long as i am working with the correct averages from the Lynn and Leicester websites. We only have one league match left in June,if you bring back Riss for Proctor for this then you can't get Douglas in not even in July. You could stay with Proctor for this one or Bring in Douglas for him.If you went for that then on the 1st of July you could bring in Riss for S.Lambert.This is how i worked it out using the respective teams websites for the averages.Although last month one or two averages were slightly different to that of the BSPA website. As you can see i want Douglas in,but if they did get Riss in straight away there would definitely be better alternatives to Lambert at reserve.
  6. Remember averages are rolling now.Just because Kerr scored 12 tonight an average of 8,he may have dropped off a score of 14 from 5 or something like that which in turn would actually reduce his average.I will wait to see what the averages are when they are put on the Lynn/BSPA website it's a lot easier that way
  7. I hope they can change the riders for whom i said, but very much doubt they can change them both come next Monday.Pretty sure they would have to play it careful to get one in a the end of June and one on the 1st of July. But they probably don't have Douglas in mind anyway. They have to bring Riss back when fit there's no question about that.If they have a different reserve in mind then they could make both changes by the next meeting.
  8. With 9 heat winners i am a bit disappointed not to have got at least a point tonight. On the upside Kerr getting 4 wins is hopefully a return to form for him. Hopefully 2 changes for Lynn for July to makes us really competetive. If say we had Riss back for Proctor and Douglas for S.Lambert that would do for me. Who was that practicing at Lynn Monday?
  9. And who for Lambert? Personally i would go for Riss back for Proctor and Douglas for Lambert. That fit after Mondays match, but i suppose it can all depend on how the averages change after tonight which is our last one before the cut off date.
  10. I think JamesB was asking someone to do the updates as he normally does them.So now he can see how his team is getting on as a texter has come forward.
  11. Yes 7 from the PL,1 being Wells.I didn't say how many there was but it would give you a much better chance of getting a decent guest had he a 7pt average. But having said that nowadays many riders seem reluctant to take bookings.Only normally a select few will do it.
  12. Depends who's available or willing really. We as fans don't always know who can and will ride.BWD's average isn't that high neither so this also limits the guests. So out of those left probably only Wells was willing to take the booking
  13. I've really only learnt over the last year,it's easy get your son/daughter/grandchildren/great grandchildren or great great grandchildren to show you how.If i learnt i know you can.Saves a lot of time if you just want to copy something.
  14. Thing is we are not allowed to upset the grumpy old f**ts else that would be another thing for them to moan about
  15. Sorry if you didn't see my side of funny,we must have a different sense of humour up here.It was more of a little dig at Morris really.I expected you to see that FB.My second sentence was merely stating what i saw last year when i was down.
  16. Maybe the Poole riders have cottoned on and use some blue tac as an extra assurance against that happening +6 of the Wolves riders It is bloody bumpy though, has a wavy effect when i see it.
  17. Didn't need to much typing, just a bit of copy and paste
  18. This rule below seems to suggest otherwise to me.I'm assuming the rule you have is when a team may have 2 riders missing and are opting to use a guest for number 4 or 5 and R/R for 1-3.Who knows, that's how i read it anyway. 18.8 FACILITIES A Absent rider (s) 1-3 by MA G or RR B 1 absent rider 4-5 by MA RR (unless RR is already being used then it’s a G) C Both riders 4-5 RR x 1, G x 1 at the Team Managers discretion D Absent 6-7 G E ‘No Facility’ Premiership 1-7 Rider with a SGBC MA of 4 or less but lower than the missing rider Championship 1-7 NDL G* not declared in a SGBP & SGBC team
  19. Hole on bend 1/2?Didn't see that.Cookie said the track was a bit different to last week.I would say a bit grippier hence the fast times. And he said he struggled, but once it slickened off a bit he was back to his best.He is getting last seasons frames back for next week as i think he said they are a little more forgiving than the ones he is riding this season. The ones he rides at present are good for a majority of tracks as most tracks are slicker(his words). There was some good racing, but probably we as Lynn fans don't see it as we didn't get the result we had wanted. I'm exempt anyway,i live in Wisbech Cambridgeshire, although i'm about 100 yards away from the Norfolk border
  20. It's a draw end of,Arch Stanton totally correct
  21. Some people are getting so much older and predictable in what they say. Some just repeat the same thing over and over again
