  1. With King's Lynn still under the points limit come June and i guess with Riss making a return at some point, who do people want to see Riss replace.I preferably would like to see him replace Proctor on current form.Doing this would allow Lynn to replace S.Lambert with a 4.3 averaged rider or if picking from the Championship a 6.45 rider.I really only see Etheridge or Starke that could really take his place.
  2. Hasn't Kasper only had one match there. Alright he scored 6 but to say he is any better there is pushing it a bit.
  3. No,no.no just the one Lambert, you can take Simon up to your place
  4. I would hope there will be 2 changes when Riss comes back.
  5. I don't know why they can't get on with a grippy track. Many fans enjoyed the days when we were in the old PL,and that was when the track was really grippy.Or was it enjoyed more because we won everything
  6. Would have thought a Berge or Jensen would have fit the bill.Maybe they coulnd't get them.Kasper done ok on his visit there this season though.
  7. Just seen the new GSA's on the Championship, still 7.19 average for a rider the calibre of Cook is excellent value i think.
  8. Agree, but unsure on what Cook has come in at the moment. His average from last season though must qualify from the 2.5% reduction which would give an average of 7.54. I assumed Cook was going to come in for Proctor and probably another decent reserve on par with the likes of Toft. But with Riss getting injured Lynn decided to replace him until he is fit.Maybe they couldn't fit in a reserve they probably wanted as they now have 0.46 less to play with by replacing Riss instead of Proctor. But when Riss is fit and and you would hope re-introduced for Proctor then we would have that 0.46 back.
  9. R/R for Riss would not be good I think, he's 4th in our averages.
  10. Craig Cook and Simon Lambert in for Riss and Andersen, announced on Kings Lynn website. Happy with Cook, not overjoyed with Lambert. But I'm hoping when Riss is fit he may come in for Proctor and then gives us more to play with for Lambert.
  11. I would assume these will be the new averages come June. ROLLING AVERAGES M R P B GSA Ave. 1st 2nd 3rd 4th R Ex Robert Lambert 20 108 236 16 8.74 9.33 52 32 16 7 1 0 Ty Proctor 20 84 132 12 6.29 6.86 19 26 23 11 3 2 Thomas Jorgensen 20 85 127 23 5.98 7.06 19 24 22 14 3 3 Erik Riss 20 94 137 21 5.83 6.72 20 28 21 20 3 2 Michael Palm Toft 20 97 137 23 5.65 6.60 18 28 27 17 6 1 Lewis Kerr 20 99 119 19 4.81 5.58 18 23 19 26 10 3 Kasper Andersen 9 31 32 6 4.13 4.90 2 7 12 9 1 0
  12. Well done Swindon for getting something from this.Once Doyle withdrew it looked odds on for a Poole victory. But it seemed Swindon dug deep and managed the unthinkable, well done
  13. So now the racing has improved in the last couple of meetings.I guess Buster must have gone to all the expense of changing all the shale many were moaning about
  14. Lets get real Skidder, there should never ever be any holes on a speedway track.Home track advantage should only be where the riders know the best lines, whether the home riders like it grippy/slick,grippy/slick starts, bends etc.But to have holes as a home track advantage is damn crazy. These men are doing in excess of 60mph with no brakes don't forget.
  15. People moan about the standard of racing at Lynn, which is understandable sometimes, but what riders do know is that they will always get a nice surface to ride on. No potholes or bumps to contend with. And yet Lynn have all sorts of things going on at their track including stock cars. How can Poole not get a good surface.
  16. Thought you could only have a guest if one of your top 3 are out. Unless you have more than 1 rider out then you can have a guest and R/R. So we would have had to have R/R for one of those anyway. I think that's how it is anyway, Riss is 4th in our averages
  17. No disrespect to Simon, but with the points we have left we should be able to do better if my calculates are correct.
  18. Kerr is very second hand after his spill at Eastbourne but no broken bones,so maybe fit, maybe not.Riss obviously out,and Proctor maybe too. Can't make this one unfortunately,at work until 17:45.Unless the start can be delayed for an 1.5 hrs to let the crowds in then i can
  19. By all accounts the racing at Peterborough improved massively in their last match and everybody that went, went home very happy. To be honest on only having half a team, injuries happen in speedway unfortunately that is part and parcel of our sport.People can say we only have one team to choose from, which is true, but probably 90% of the people were crying out for fixed night racing to stop all the clashes with other leagues racing. We can have adequate replacements from Ipswich if needed, and their interest will be earning as much money as possible.People say guests don't give their all,but most of them do in all honesty.
