Poole v Kings Lynn. 11/4/2019 Shield 2nd leg
tellboy replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Good result for the Stars tonight, totally unexpected after the start they have had.Every one chipping in which enabled the win.And of course Lambert's return to his usual form.Hopefully with Kasper getting 5pts with a win in ht2 this will give him a bit of confidence to push on with a few more scores like that or better. Roll on Monday where we get to take on those Witches. -
And had all the same sponsors

Who is standing in for Lynn's stand in team manager -
I agree with you.You can have lesser like riders if they are pretty much at the same level as each other you will get good racing.Especially at the NSS which is a superb racetrack.

I can only see an away win unfortunately.Poole's strength in depth is basically better than ours. The engine room of the Stars quite frankly haven't started the season too well in the Championship let alone the opener against Ipswich last week. And NBJ at reserve for Poole has started the season really well.So this is the reason i see an away win. Weather is set to be beautiful today with nice warm Summer sunshine, until the sun dips then it will feel like Winter again i'm sure. I can't make tonight because of work, but i hope miracles do happen and the Stars pull off a win against all odds(in the famous words of SS) -
Don't really watch much Polish speedway, but see Lublin was on so thought i would watch to see how Lambert would get on in the top Polish league. What would Miesiak come in on,a 4 maybe 0,1',3,1,3=8+1 from 5 rides, not bad for his first meeting in the top league in Poland. His 5-1 with Michelsen over Lindback and Buczkowski in ht14 sealed the victory for Lublin.

Watching the Lublin match this evening i hope Lambert tells Buster about a chap named Miesiak, boy he was exciting to watch and scored well too.Maybe later on in the season?

I guess it's early in the season so no riders will be missing from riding abroad or doubling up.Think FRN is a good idea as it should get rid of any rider clashes when all leagues are in full swing. -
You need to zoom in a bit Bald Bloke it's 3.67.In my original team i put out way back i wanted Nielsen in,seemed a steel on his average. But we have what we have and you have to give them all a few matches before we can suggest making any changes.

I too was thinking the same with Andersen and his average.Only time will tell i suppose. What wages is he on?Many people claim to know what riders get paid but actually they know f@ all as you like to put it.

Edited now thanks. Daniel most definitely wanted all 3 clubs to finish in the bottom 3 just to get at Buster. -

You wanted all the East Anglian clubs to finish in the bottom 3 to get at Buster. So in my eyes you want them all to fail. I remember quoting you to say your beef is with Buster, but to want 3 teams to fail/finish bottom 3 is silly. -

I wouldn't take to much notice of Daniel,he wants all the East Anglian clubs to fail. Bit miffed to see such a scoreline, but it is early doors.Wouldn't have minded so much if these scores went onto the averages but i don't think they do.If they did i would like to have thought they were average manipulating already,in earnest to make changes for the PL. Anyway congratulations to Ipswich on the demolition of my Stars teamObviously the best team by far on the night.Hopefully we will get some kind of revenge in 11 days time. That will be the first match i will be able to attend this season.Hoping to see plenty of Witches fans there. -
Don't flatter yourselves,i'm sure if the money was to his liking he would ride for anyone who wanted him

If they vote for the 2 weakest of the 4 to go in ht 14 then we go with the 2 strongest in ht15. Unless of course they have held 1 or 2 riders back for ht 15 if they prefer. -

Buster will only pay what is needed to make speedway viable at Lynn. Why overpay and see another team go by the wayside. We have seen too many go in recent years. -

I hope Robin isn't serious in doing that way. That would mean nominating a reserve for ht 14,if the poll chose him which you would expect to be our best reserve this would only leave K.Andersen to fill in if someone gets excluded in hts 14 and 15.No disrespect to Kasper but i would rather see MPT/Kerr to fill in if a rider gets excluded.
