Craig Cook and Simon Lambert in for Riss and Andersen, announced on Kings Lynn website. Happy with Cook, not overjoyed with Lambert. But I'm hoping when Riss is fit he may come in for Proctor and then gives us more to play with for Lambert.

I would assume these will be the new averages come June. Peterborough v Kings Lynn Premiership Mon May 27th
tellboy replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So now the racing has improved in the last couple of meetings.I guess Buster must have gone to all the expense of changing all the shale many were moaning about -
Lets get real Skidder, there should never ever be any holes on a speedway track.Home track advantage should only be where the riders know the best lines, whether the home riders like it grippy/slick,grippy/slick starts, bends etc.But to have holes as a home track advantage is damn crazy. These men are doing in excess of 60mph with no brakes don't forget.
-
People moan about the standard of racing at Lynn, which is understandable sometimes, but what riders do know is that they will always get a nice surface to ride on. No potholes or bumps to contend with. And yet Lynn have all sorts of things going on at their track including stock cars. How can Poole not get a good surface.

Thought you could only have a guest if one of your top 3 are out. Unless you have more than 1 rider out then you can have a guest and R/R. So we would have had to have R/R for one of those anyway. I think that's how it is anyway, Riss is 4th in our averages -
No disrespect to Simon, but with the points we have left we should be able to do better if my calculates are correct.

Kerr is very second hand after his spill at Eastbourne but no broken bones,so maybe fit, maybe not.Riss obviously out,and Proctor maybe too. Can't make this one unfortunately,at work until 17:45.Unless the start can be delayed for an 1.5 hrs to let the crowds in then i can -
By all accounts the racing at Peterborough improved massively in their last match and everybody that went, went home very happy. To be honest on only having half a team, injuries happen in speedway unfortunately that is part and parcel of our sport.People can say we only have one team to choose from, which is true, but probably 90% of the people were crying out for fixed night racing to stop all the clashes with other leagues racing. We can have adequate replacements from Ipswich if needed, and their interest will be earning as much money as possible.People say guests don't give their all,but most of them do in all honesty.
-
I would have said a straight swap for Proctor first. But who knows now with Riss possibly missing a month,it may have to be a double swap come June.Say someone like Nielsen for Kasper and Cook for Riss.We will all know soon enough.
-
I trust you
-
Is Jake injured too.As that's the case we would have to ask King and Heeps to guest then and have R/R for Riss.
-
Could Cook have had the call from Swindon. Is Musielak out for long?
-
No 5% for the away team
-
Buster will have to borrow riders from his other team Ipswich.King for Proctor,Heeps or Allen for Kerr and R/R for Riss.Or Heeps and Allen for for Kerr and Riss and R/R for Proctor.
-
Good point re Cook,i'm just going on what was rumoured earlier in the week. Now with Cook apparently telling us more news on Tuesday and Lynn not making any changes until after Mondays match puts further fuel on the fire. But with Kerr's injury tonight who knows, still hoping everything is just precaution with Kerr though.
-
Looks like we may have to wait and see about Kerr.Just seen on the updates at Eastbourne the ambulance is out for Kerr, just hoping he is not injured,if he is i hope it isn't too bad. This is the last thing Kerr needs. Edit: Kerr has walked into the ambulance, but a county ambulance has arrived, fingers crossed for Kerr.

Well do folks really believe King's Lynn could get Cook on board? If he was to come on a 7 he could be a straight a straight swap for Proctor in 6 days time.Or does it all depend on how long Riss will be out for.If he is out for a period and you got Cook in for him you would have to make a double change. This would then be the end of Kasper i assume. But you could bring in a Starke or Nielsen for him which isn't bad at all.
-
If indeed his average is going to be 7,In 6 days time he will fit in with a straight swap for either Proctor or Jorgensen. But if Riss is out for a while it may pay to bring in Cook for him and also you would have to get rid of Kasper then, and bring in someone like Starke or Nielsen.

I understand what your saying, but you have to remember the we earn on average 2.5 times more than the Polish. If they didn't have it at these sort of prices the stadium would only be 25% full.
