  1. Looks like a weekend in Somerset next season when King's Lynn are down
  2. Think a 7.5 average would be fine for Ellis, considering the likes of Jacobs 5.36,Wright 6.59,Starke 6.62,Rose 5.86 would come in on the stated averages. He is better than those mentioned and he isn't quite as good as S.Worrall 8.51,Lambert 8.76.
  3. I would like to think they to will be subject to an increase of 1.4,which would then give them an average of 9.8
  4. Good point regarding Doyle,he will lose 1.5pts or more off his average pretty much straight away.So if the team starts off poor with Doyle in it you could see a re-declaration as soon as allowed.
  5. You can take Lakeside out of the EL for now unfortunately.
  6. If he has signed it would make sense.Buster probably going for mainly his own assets.Make things cheaper from the off.
  7. They can't stop riders earning money, but they can easily drop him from the team. And if put in this situation i am sure he would pick Poland instead of England.
  8. Didn't think the AGM started until a week Friday another 12 days yet.Maybe wrong.
  9. If that isn't a fake average then, they should have all current EL riders who have done the season in the PL on their PL averages as they too won't be fake.
  10. Looking at his statement he said he felt that strong about it that is why he pulled out.Would he have said or done the same had the unfortunate Doyle been riding, simple answer no.
  11. Well i think Hancock is being very childish pulling out of the meeting because he has got disqualified in one race. His pulling out has an impact on riders finishing in the top 3 and also in the top 8 depending on who he had left to face. For instance would Janowski have got a point if he faced Hancock and not Fricke, could have a bearing on the top 8. Someone said he should have had an E/F,but he didnt want Smarzlik to get any more points so couldnt do that.
  12. Partly, but then explain when in 2012 the rate was over 1.5 dollars to the pound and yet petrol was over £1.40.Surely going solely on your logic petrol then should have been under a pound.
  13. I thought fuel and food go up and down on a regular basis anyway. Can you remember buying fuel in 2012 it was over £1.40 a litre so it's got a little way to go yet before we are out of pocket.
  14. So there is nothing to discuss then until after the AGM,pointless to start the topic then until some time in November when you will know how you can make up your team
  15. Try telling SS that. For what it's worth i think you are pretty much spot on with how you weighted the averages.
  16. So you are still going on about his PL average. If they were to use them, then surely the likes of Rose,Jacobs and Clegg should have their averages reduced even further as they have inflated averages through riding at reserve all season.Whereas Newman has been riding as HL. I suppose you would be against that as well as it wouldn't benefit Newman/Poole. Easiest and simplest way is to take their averages from the time the EDRs spent at reserve and convert them.Look at the bigger picture SS and see what benefits British speedway and not just Poole speedway.
  17. While most people think a converted EL average is the way to go,only you and a few others think otherwise. If Newman had a 10pt PL average you would alter your decision for sure. You will not think outside the box and will only like decisions that benefit Poole.
  18. Why convert an average from a different league with different riders, when you could just convert his average from the actual league he would be in.All the EDRs now have an EL average just convert those. You simply want his average converted from the PL as this would no doubt put him on a lower average.
  19. Thought the track man was to blame for putting water down 20 minutes before that rain shower came.
  20. I'm glad i bought my house but each to their own.It is much tougher now to afford a mortgage especially for first timers. For instance i was earning £210 a week in 1994 and now £520 a week.In 1994 my house cost £35000 and now it is £140000.So my wages have gone up about 2.5 times but the house about 4 times. So for people now that means alot less money in their pockets.
