  1. Oh dear, lets hope you get your cheque in the next few days. But with Leicesters current situation it must be a bit of a worry.I was surprised at getting my cheque last week, but when i did i assumed everyone would get theirs.
  2. Still the stats say Poole are currently the best team, and the bookies favourites no denying that.
  3. Personally i would like Belle Vue to win.But the fact Poole started the season with the best reserves as a pairing, and will finish the season with the best reserves that is the biggest factor in making them favourites.
  4. Think they know enough, they seem to make plenty of money
  5. According to the bookies Gavan is correct. They have Poole down as favourites .
  6. I thought the safety fence at Lynn is meant to be better than the air fences?Dosen't it absorb more of the impact if a rider hits it.When you see Kasprzak walk away from a full on impact a little while ago you know it's doing the job its meant to.Afterall riders safety comes first.
  7. I preferred the PL.As kelvinht said think the oppositions minds were more on the solid fence than their racing. With the safety barriers now in place i think the mindset of riders are a bit different to when we were in the PL and they can give it a bit more of a go.I preferred PL for the fact we had more variety in teams and we were racing every week at home.Plus the riders interacted with the fans so much more, which at the end of the day the kids love all that. And if we want more fans in our stadiums we have to get the kids in as they are the future.
  8. Think his problem is the dolly bird he's now got.
  9. Members 8,573 posts Posted 22 July 2016 - 02:48 PM We certainly can win all our home fixtures, a tough ask but we can. 1 away fixture against Leicester left to run. We can pick up the odd away point for keeping it within 6. It's madness to rule us out with 4 matches in hand on Swindon & Lakeside. Are you pretty much agreeing with me now that it is very unlikely we could make the play-offs.Even though we have only had 1 match since this quote I do think Poole will beat us comfortably.
  10. Frequency is so much better.Did you use to go on it before.Lucky to get 2 bits of information a week whether it be results or any form of news. Now we get it pretty regular 13 bits of information in the last 16 days that aint bad.Concentrate on the positives which that is.
  11. Yes,the website has most definately improved and the frequency has improved. Some people like to moan just for the sake of it.It makes them happy when they are moaning
  12. I don't think you can say the riders lacked effort,it's their living at the end of the day.How can you say they lacked effort because of their scores that is total rubbish. So when NBJ bust a gut in his first home meeting to score 1 he lacked effort did he.Simply what they score doesn't mean they lacked effort.Simple answer our riders were not as good as Swindon's on the night.
  13. Didn't blow it in my mind.believed we wouldn't win before the meeting and so it proved. We are not good enough to be anywhere near the play-offs.Both of these teams would be beaten by Poole or Belle Vue in the play-offs easily imo
  14. I too was one who thought the move at the time to replace Mads with Rory was the right move. But i didn't think Rory would struggle like this. The figures you show though didn't Mads spend alot of his time at 2nd string and Rory as HL?(unsure)
  15. Think he has had a couple of extra guest bookings. He definately rode at Lakeside and possibly Wolves coupled with the 2 for Lynn,so 3-4 matches he has rode would like to think he would be in the swing of things by now.Think its confidence not fitness.
  16. I think Swindon will win this.Rory Schlein has struggled since his comeback, and i think we need all our riders firing to get an away result.
  17. Well it would be a good start if they did fund speedway at grass roots level.
  18. Well Lamberts gating has improved lots imo.2 years ago riders were nearly at the 1st bend before he dropped his clutch,so he must be learning something.
  19. I didn't enclose an S.A.E and the cheque dropped on the mat this morning .Now lets see if it will clear . Didn't think they needed to add that refunding the admission is not in accordance with the BSPA policy. They could have just left the end bit that the refund is a good will gesture.
