Coventry V Kings Lynn -monday 11th July - 7.30pm
tellboy replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Deserved result for the Stars 43-47 in old money.Dont think home teams should be allowed the t/d afterall the have the hometrack knowhow. But those are the rules and you have to go with it. Massive well done to Troy on that last race,he was under alot of pressure once Niels was excluded, Jakobsen at last made some gates, and Rose again seems to have gone up another gear in the last month or so. Cant remember who said we would be stronger with R/R and Schlein but 3 from R/R and 4 from Schlein i dont think made us stronger. But it is good to see Schlein back and hopefully once dialled back in he will prove his worth. -

He already had an idea SL.He had a race in it last year -
Would much rather see Morris guesting,at least he would be more competetive.Any of the young Stars would be out of their depth in the EL at the moment.Hopefully Lambert's average will go up soon and we can get a wider choice of guests. But then again we may just have to go back and use Wilko again.

Possibly the only move we could do with the current averages we have.Crazy really with such an under-performing team we cant really improve on it as our team average is too high.

Lakeside V Poole Friday 1st July

Good result for Poole, just proves a PL side can beat an EL side -
Mads seems to do this most of the time to what i can remember. He was easily beaten by Fricke and Worrall last night both 2nd strings on his home track. He does always seem to tail off the longer the seasons go on.

Good meeting last night, really enjoyed it.There were a few noisy Belle Vue fans behind us which was great to hear and see. The racing was good with plenty of overtakes.Thought the best races were from the PL boys especially the one with S.Worrall and Rose doing battle.Lambert having to do his usual form the back races.I do wish he can learn to gate to get up with the big boys some day. Before the meeting didnt think we could win this one,but i did expect a bit more from Belle Vue to be honest.Still a win is a win. Downside Mads,he is doing his usual start the season well and then gradually fade away as the season goes on.Does he maintain his bikes/engines as the season goes on?Personally i would get rid while he is on his highish average,if there is anyone wishing to ride over here that is. Mom Lewis Rose, excellent.

Farcical beyond belief, lets hope the weather wins this one.All anybody wants to see is two full strength sides do battle. Now you get Zagar v Huchenbeck as opposing No 1s.If riders were injured fair enough, but the riders missing are all riding elsewhere and should have been called weeks ago. With one exception with Cookie only being called up recently for the GP qualifier.

Pretty much what many fans have been saying for a few years then. -
Just because they are very wealthy doesn't mean they are putting in as much as what companies Semion mentioned.

I agree the season on and off track hasnt gone well. But someone has to be bottom of the pile,or near as damn it. If Lynn were to make changes and things still didnt work out i bet the same people would still come on here and moan their socks off about the same thing.
-
There always seems to be excuses for Pedersen when he has a poor meeting.
-
But if it wasn't for the concreted centre at Lynn, who knows there probably wouldn't be any speedway. So I would rather take that and speedway together than grass and possibly no speedway.
-
Because a lot of fans follow speedway believe it or not.Not just what happens at their home club.
-
A friend of mine also told me this happened,as he to had got there early. This is what amazes me with Buster how he can get a raceable track with the conditions against him.Chucked it down around 5. Poor old Starman has to have a dig at everything outside of Dorset,he really should come into the real world now and again.

King's Lynn V Coventry Bees (sky) Wed 22nd June
tellboy replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Its Mads average that is false. This is what has put Lambert down to second string.Lambert has attained that average riding at a heat leader position so is definitely not on a false average. -
Racing started at 19.30 as stated not 19.15.There was just about an hour between Lamberts 1st and 2nd ride so was not waiting 2hrs for his 2nd.You are some way out with some of your timings on how many races had gone by certain times. You were pretty close with the finishing time though you was only a few minutes out with that one.
-
Having been there tonight I have to agree with Fricke. The track was very good with times early on in the 58 second bracket, very quick. These young riders wanted to be on their bit of the track whoever was in the way was unfortunately going to get hit. I enjoyed it actually even though it did go on a long while.I was in good company so enjoyed my chats in between races(just over 9 mins average ) If only Lambert could gate he would be very hard to beat. Bates rode very well too.Ellis done ok if it wasn't for his fall and tapes exclusion he would have been in the semi i'm sure.So all in all a pretty satisfactory night for the Brits I think.

That's no different to now pretty much.14 home matches from April to September 26 weeks.

Well is that a first.Having just watched the recording the commentators say Iversen has got excluded for looking at an opposing rider .Seems to me that riders are actually getting that bit tougher with Pedersen now,his days are gone now I think. -
