Poole V Coventry Es First Leg 16/03/16
tellboy replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So you are having a go about Coventry fans about giving this lad a chance as a wheel hasn't been turned yet. Yet your were criticising the signing of Huchenbeck this is also before a wheel has been turned in anger, give the lad a chance just like you have told the Coventry fans -

Yes you are correct in that any other club could have signed him if it fit in with his schedule,i'm not denying that.I am just saying how crazy it has turned out that he has to ride as HL and Andersen as 2nd string. When they are both declared the other way around. -

I know it is simple how they have done it.The crazy thing about this situation is you have Buzz declared in your line-up as 2nd string riding as HL and a HL declared in your line up riding at 2nd string. You cant tell me that isn't crazy. So in theory you have 4 HLs and 3 2nd strings in your 1-5 that's definately crazy. Don't worry Lynn have Lambert as 2nd string having to ride as a HL.But then we only have 2 HLs anyway. -

The way I read it is the one with the higher MA goes into the 1-5 whether or not he's a tier 1 or tier 2 rider. 17.5.1 Only one EDR (the one with the highest MA) may move into a Team’s top 1-5. 17.5.2 Of the riders nominated for the meeting they will line up in the following positions a) The 1st, 2nd and 3rd riders (by MA) must ride at either #1 #3 or #5.The 4th and 5th riders (by MA) must ride at either #2 or #4. c) The 6th and 7th riders (by MA) must ride at #6 or #7. NB, only an EDR may ride at #7. Taken from the new rules. -

The thing I find crazy about the Buzz situation is he has come in as a 2nd string but has to ride at a heat leader position. Think any of them can go into the 1-5 as long as it is only one of them. -
Not to great, thats my view anyway. But it was his first look at the track.
-
Got my first look at Huckenbeck tonight. After his first ride I thought he wont last long. But then must have got a better set up or something and looked pretty impressive to me.He could surprise a few on tonights performance.Early scalps Harris,Doyle and to a lesser extent Pedersen
-
Bet some of the riders may fake injury this season, wouldn't blame them I would if I was them.Lauren is a welcome addition to the Stars set up
-
In my book cheapest means they are cheaper than any other. If it was worded joint cheapest as GB said then that's different.
-
£17,I know another club at that price so not quite the cheapest on the league
-
That is correct according to the Lynn website.
-
So it seems Swindon had a part in this too,as they seemed happy for Lynn to use him up until now.Seems like the BSF has a voice in speedway by the looks of it. So who do Lynn turn to now,N.Pedersen anyone.
-
Don't think Skidder said it was,if you read what he said properly.
-
He's in the squad of 10,maybe he wont be picked in the final 8
-
I see we will be tracking our 1-7 plus Jason Doyle.16 races with 8 man teams looking forward to this one already.
-
I totally agree.I wasn't disagreeing at all,i hope it didn't come over that way.
-
Which they do seem to be improving on helping the youngsters now.So hopefully in a few years we will have some decent ones coming through at an earlier age.
-
You could say the same about Wilkinson,Auty(10 this year),Starke(9)C.Wright(10+)Newman(8).Most of the FTR,s were racing National League at the age of 16 so these are all fast becoming veterans as you say.Forgot to mention Mear I know he was in the Rye Raiders/Colts in 2006. Time moves quite quickly and we don't realise just how long some of these riders have been riding.Lewis Kerr for instance is now at 6 years. So if we were to get rid of the veterans we would probably have no fast track at present, until some of the young kids do start coming through, which at last they seem to have something in place now to help them.
-
Just done some research, your are correct.Just spelt Adamczewski
-
Take your word for it,i cant remember.Definately remember his first name though cant really forget it with it being Kamil
-
4.00 I make Lynn 2.53 under the limit, that's if I remember correctly that the team limit is 40.5
-
This is where Lynn lost it last time. One of their reserves getting something like 12 points,Kamil was his name, cant remember his surname though.
-
If only you had put a bet on Leicester City at the start of the season when they were 5000/1
-
The last time we faced Polish opposition we were allowed a guest to strengthen the side up.This was to try and make the sides a bit more even.
