And you could also say why did Lakeside declare a rider from the list who had retired. I like you hope Blackbird doesn't stay retired and indeed does come to Lynn,at least it will make the situation much better.But if he don't is there any rider of the same quality as Kerr/Blackbird who could be added.I don't think there is off the top of my head.

I agree that this has been a bit of a cock up,but why should a team go with a rider ranked 19th as their number 1.Even if Lynn didn't change their race night Lakeside would have been in the same situation.Would people have been moaning then.People seem to be moaning because Lynn have changed their race-night,this didn't have anything to do with Blackbird retiring which ultimately is why we have this problem now. Probably in all fairness the draw would be re-drawn but that would be unlikely to happen as some teams are complete and if they were to get a higher average reserve they may have to drop someone in the 1-5.Also if you have a lesser averaged reserve you may have been able to get a higher average rider in the 1-5.

If that was the case then maybe they should have included another rider into the first picks from the off.Why an earth did the picks go ahead with a rider who wasn't riding included in it,they must have known it would cause problems.

Fair enough on that point,but apparently he was told we maybe riding Thursdays before he signed for Ipswich(unsure).But had Kerr been riding for Lynn then it would have been unfair on Lakeside to lose out because Blackbird decided to quit. At the end of the day their should be 8 1st picks and at present their are only 7 regardless of what night any club ride on.

I was just saying what somebody else said about names being added.I assume as their are only 7 1st picks as Blackbird looks like he has pulled out,and there are 8 teams it would also be unfair on Lynn to have the 9th choice second tier rider as their no1 1st pick.Does that make sense,it does to me but maybe not others.

Good to see Cook getting fixed up in Poland with Lodz.Hopefully he will go up another gear this season,apart from the times he races against Lynn of course

Apparently they maybe adding to the list of FTRs according to someone on another thread.I would assume they will wait to see if anymore names are added and then go from there.I'm pretty sure I have mentioned this before but cant say I am a 100%

And don't you feel that was the correct way to do it.Look at the poor Darcy situation,people were coming out with all sorts of things before all of the facts were known about the situation.How distressing that could be for family and friends hearing what people are coming out with because they heard it on the grapevine.I believe they have done it the correct way.State facts when you know them.

As I have said this is speedway,i don't get upset because I don't get to know the ins and outs of a ducks a**e of what is going on.Do you really need to know everything,as long as we get to know the 1-7 and when the first match is a couple of weeks in advance we should all be alright. You go on other threads and you aren't aware somebody has posted that the reserve list could have more riders put on it in January.Maybe this is the reason nothing has been said about the final reserve plus you cant get the other rider until you know the average of your final reserve.

Is there any information to share?(apart rom the Batchelor thing).Whats the point of putting things on for the shear hell of it.Lets be honest this is speedway not football where things happen on a more regular basis.Problem with social media etc is that people tend to become more nosier nowadays and want to know the ins and outs of everything that goes on.Hmm I wonder what Schlein had for dinner today hopefully Lynn will put that on their website

Why do people keep banging on about NKI returning.With the current team his average wont fit as the last reserve has to be at least a 3pt average.You could get rid of one of the other riders and bring in NKI and another rider.But that would be very harsh on a rider already signed.

Who would you get rid of to accommodate NKI?

Would love Sayfutdinov at number 1.Millsy at 6 though,loved the days of the PL but not sure whether he would be able to cut it at EL level.Really can only see Blackbird being a decent number 6 who is left.Thats if he is willing to ride though.

Pathetic to ban SCB.Very knowledgeable member on this forum.You can have a sensible debate with him.Pretty much right on most things he says,and if he is found to be wrong he will hold his hands up.Its such a shame that he has been banned,when over the last year or so there has been many a poster that should have been banned but seem to be immune from this. Sorry to say I don't think Niels will fit now.We have 11.81 left and his average was 8.98.Only leaves 2.83 for a reserve and the minimum is 3.00

How about Peter Kildemand,don't know whether he fancies racing in England next season.That would leave a big enough averaged gap for Ben Barker at reserve .Before anyone jumps on me "i know apparently BB is not on the FTR list",but its worth a try with Buster at the healm
