Just saying what the rules indicate.We may well use Lambert at home anyway. I would say the number 9's primarily are to cover for injuries to your tier 2 riders,as your number 9's have to be tier two riders themselves.Incidentally looks like Lynn's team average has to include Lamberts average and not Rose's as he has the higher. So we can at the end of the day use Lambert or anyone below Wilko in the averages.But still only allowed to use guest EDR's 4 times.

Its a shame the meeting couldn't get going last night.I would imagine many fans wanting refunds as a lot of those there last night would purely be there as it was a big start of a new era for Belle Vue speedway,and they had a class field to go with it.Depending on when the meeting is restaged will the GP boys be there and it possibly wont be the opening meeting.This would I'm sure have a big impact on the crowd.

Must admit I only quickly went over the rules.Didn't see a mention that they had to use Lambert just because he has signed as a 2nd tier 2 rider.Looking at the rules it looks pretty much as last year.

Lets hope early suspicions are wrong.He's started the season well and will be a big miss at reserve for Lynn. Who can Lynn use as a guest,or will they just call on Lambert if Wilko is to miss any meetings.

Isn't that down to the ref to keep the meeting moving along?

Yes you are correct in that any other club could have signed him if it fit in with his schedule,i'm not denying that.I am just saying how crazy it has turned out that he has to ride as HL and Andersen as 2nd string.When they are both declared the other way around.

I know it is simple how they have done it.The crazy thing about this situation is you have Buzz declared in your line-up as 2nd string riding as HL and a HL declared in your line up riding at 2nd string.You cant tell me that isn't crazy.So in theory you have 4 HLs and 3 2nd strings in your 1-5 that's definately crazy. Don't worry Lynn have Lambert as 2nd string having to ride as a HL.But then we only have 2 HLs anyway.

The way I read it is the one with the higher MA goes into the 1-5 whether or not he's a tier 1 or tier 2 rider. 17.5.1 Only one EDR (the one with the highest MA) may move into a Team’s top 1-5. 17.5.2 Of the riders nominated for the meeting they will line up in the following positions a) The 1st, 2nd and 3rd riders (by MA) must ride at either #1 #3 or #5.The 4th and 5th riders (by MA) must ride at either #2 or #4. c) The 6th and 7th riders (by MA) must ride at #6 or #7. NB, only an EDR may ride at #7. Taken from the new rules.

The thing I find crazy about the Buzz situation is he has come in as a 2nd string but has to ride at a heat leader position. Think any of them can go into the 1-5 as long as it is only one of them.

Got my first look at Huckenbeck tonight.After his first ride I thought he wont last long.But then must have got a better set up or something and looked pretty impressive to me.He could surprise a few on tonights performance.Early scalps Harris,Doyle and to a lesser extent Pedersen

Bet some of the riders may fake injury this season,wouldn't blame them I would if I was them.Lauren is a welcome addition to the Stars set up

So it seems Swindon had a part in this too,as they seemed happy for Lynn to use him up until now.Seems like the BSF has a voice in speedway by the looks of it. So who do Lynn turn to now,N.Pedersen anyone.
