  1. Think i would have gone for Tofty around Lynn,if available of course.
  2. Like all the Lynn fans their i assume.I was dissapointed with not getting more. While Jorgensen dropped points in ht14 he at least bust a gut trying for 1st.I was more dissapointed in Iversen in ht10 i think it was, quite visibly shut of before the start/finish line on about lap 2/3(unsure)when clearly having the speed to get past Barker. He was virtually level with Barker at this point and just totally come off the gas.
  3. Don't need the excitement and tension of a super heat tonight, have a little op again at Papworth tomorrow.Don't need my heart rate going into overdrive for that. Anyway as far as the super heat goes,as long as we packed in 2nd and 3rd it wouldn't matter whether Doyle came first. Would prefer Lynn to win though and send Ipswich home with nothing on the night,so need a 49-41 win at least .
  4. We could do with NKI on better form than last night in Sweden. He wasn't very good at all. Hopefully the track will be a bit grippier than last week and then we could see Pickering doing his stuff. It will be closer than our last home meeting with Ipswich for sure. Can't see Doyle being overtaken 3 times in this one.
  5. Would you loan anything to Barker, probably be something missing on it when you got it back,if indeed you got it back at all.It would be on ebay within minutes.
  6. Surely you can't just pick the rising stars that are on form.Palin is Peterborough's rising star he should be used.
  7. Who said they want to see slick track boredom etc.I'm pretty sure 99.5% of fans would rather watch a GP from Belle Vue or of similar ilk than to watch that sort of rubbish that was served up tonight.
  8. The challenges are hard enough as it is in speedway when conditions are good.Riders were passengers on many occassions.Would you have enjoyed it had a rider got seriously injured tonight?I guess not, then you may have criticised it.
  9. It was like that from about ht 2 Bagpuss.Awful, bloody awful.
  10. Glad you enjoyed that Steve.I thought that was a very poor advert for speedway.Good for moto cross, not speedway. The winner Dudek said it all really"dangerous"
  11. As Rob B said,Bewley was there just went too wide 1st/2nd bend,he was ahead of Zmarzlik and wasn't smart into those bends.
  12. A track like this can also put someone seriously injured in hospital.
  13. Thought Lewi would have been in ht15 tbh instead of NKI.Ht 14 TJ rode his nuts off to try to get the race win but lost his place to Riss who just rode the inside line constantly.Riss got 12pts tonight by not venturing of the inside line. Was happy to take a point before the meeting, but slightly disappointed we didn't get more in the end.Only the scoreline kept it interesting, the racing certainly didnt.
  14. Pretty much every pass on the inside, someone drifts a little wide it's night night.Closeness of the score keeps it interesting though. Think Ipswich have to much now though with Doe having 2 left.
  15. It certainly does imo.Riss,Batchelor and the two reserves isn't it?
  16. Going to make my first visit to the foxhole for many a year today. My last visit was to watch a friend ride when he had a spell with Workington before returning to the best club in the land Sun is out,it's warm the only thing to top it off today would be a Lynn win
  17. Oh,didn't know that.I think he will summon up the strentgth to ride in the biggest derby in speedway
  18. Personally thought the track needed grading at least another couple of times. The dirt line was so wide if you were on it you weren't caught. Our Mr entertainment Pickering couldn't do anything in his last 2 races as the ones in front was on that line and the inside gave you nothing,as he said afterwards.Having said that though there was some tough, hard racing but all fair imo Although the ref kept his fingers on the button, there was that many re-runs we actually finished at the same time as normal. As with Kerr lets hope this is the turning point in his season,as up until now he has been pretty poor.He was good for Redcar at the weekend with some quick times.Be nice for another max at Ipswich Thursday
  19. Would have to be a guest/no8 for Blodorn as he is at reserve.
