If those two up their averages away from home BB ,I think we could have a decent season.
-
TJ did indeed top score at Wolves, but one swallow doesn't make a summer. There has been quite a difference in his home to away average whilst riding for Lynn.I asked him at the end of the season a couple of years ago about this and he admiitted to me he has to improve his away form.I will give him his due though,he hasn't done too bad on the road this season so far,i think this 4+1 was his lowest.
-
TJ has never been that good away from home, that's the reason he wouldn't have been in my side this season. You certainly do Bagpuss,a loss of 6 or less points for the away team gains you 1 league pt.
-
Still a good point on the road, would have taken that before the meeting. As it happened even if Worrall did come in ht14 we would have still only have taken a point. We had 7 heat wins, every rider getting at least a win or paid win, apart from Thomas but he can claim the scalp of beating Kurtz into 3rd place. So all in all not a bad performance i suppose against the red hot favourites for the league.Plus i had a fiver on Lynn+14

Hume did score what Starke may have scored, but he replaced Rowe.Nicol scored 2+1 from 3 he replaced Starke so missing Starke probably did contribute to Ipswich not getting anything from the meeting. But it was a poor team effort from Ipswich when only your no1 and 7 score the bulk of your points at home.

My thoughts exactly. No disrespect to Thomas, but after Worrall gating in his previous heat and his experience get him in a heat that could have got something for us.

King's Lynn v Wolves 05/05/22

Probably if they arrived on time.Apparently they were waiting for the new bulbs for months. They were scheduled to be done before the season started, sure Buster said that at one meeting. The old ones that are in there at the moment you can't get anymore is what i heard. So every time one goes it gets darker and darker.Hoping the new led ones will give us a lot better viewing with lighting the place up,should do. -
Was it Bewley they were apparently waiting on,if so who would that have been for?
-
Not at all.But sometimes you lose the will to get your point across, especially to the ones who don't want to accept it or indeed don't understand it.As the saying goes"there's none so blind as those who will not see".This certainly rings true here so there is no point going on.

Does he traditionally go well around Foxhall? -
So you didn't have a declared 1-7 before the season started, which you should according to the complex speedway rules.

Pretty rich coming from a Belle Vue fan who thinks they have played it by the rules. Remember watergate Thought everyone is going by the only rule that counts anyway "in the best interests" Probably under water now anyway with the rain we are having here about 6 miles away. -
No it doesn't make it more credible, but that's the rule book for you.If thing's aren't complex it seems it doesn't belong in the rules
-
That would have been legitimate, unlike the way they have gone about it.
-
Have you read the rules? K.Lynn are allowed a facility as Kildemand isn't coming. Did Belle Vue declare their 1-7 before the start of the season?Lemon's incompetence of not being able to do this is now being rewarded.
-
Your forgetting you are allowed a facility for someone refusing to ride.Kildemand would get the 28 day ban,not Lynn
-
I don't know what to say,as per rules. There's something in your water.
-
Oh,ok
-
Hasn't the other Pawlicki's Swedish team folded.
-
I must admit I have never seen a rule book from any other country so I can't comment on them. Personally here in the UK in my opinion the team anyone starts with should be the one they finish with, barring injuries of course. This would do away with quite a few rules to start with that aren't needed anyway. We don't currently have enough money in the UK to run squads, although we have no8's now that can replace the no7's.I would still have R/R or guests for your top 5 in any team that has injuries because they still need to remain a little competitive.Or obviously they can sign someone.
-
I guess this is from someone who hasn't even bothered to look.Just everything is rosy as long as its your team. You could be a promoter many of those who only think of their clubs rather than the bigger picture of speedway in general. The first thing in many sports is the adherence of the rule book. Not in speedway.

Don't even have to say that now, every rule can be overlooked with "in the best interests" -

I would call it off if 3 were absent. -
He can say what he wants cant he to justify the move.I just look at the regulations.
