They couldn't change the agreed tv schedule as 25% of the PL fixtures haven't been completed yet
-
I thought your last paragraph did matter to you.Or that's what I seem to get from some of your posts as to one of the reasons you don't attend so often now.Unless I am thinking of someone else
-
Thought those ones were quite clear, especially when you compare them against some of the other rules.
-
As someone has said and i believe is that the no7/RS that is protected.Plus i am sure you are not allowed a tactical in that race. edit:just had a quick look at the regs. Taken from the 2022 SCB speedway regulations In all Premiership Team competitions the #7 is protected in heats 2 and 8 and no replacements are permitted unless injured and confirmed in writing by the MO 012.4.4 Tactical Substitute (TS) Is not applicable in a 2 legged tie a) is permitted on only one occasion in heat 5 – 14, excluding heat 8, when a team is 6 or more points in arrears Plus i didn't know that if the R/S attains a high enough average he would ride in the 1-5 and the then lowest average rider will ride at 7.
-
A decent team manager would just replace him with the other reserve wouldn't they?Don't have to faff about to get him excluded just pull him and get the reserve in.
-
All this will do is put another addition to the rule book. The rule book has to many rules in it as it is.Why don't they just make every team make the declaration of their 1-7 by a certain date, obviously before any matches take place.Something like the end of February will do.
-
Didn't think a T/S was allowed in ht 8 anyway.
-
The rule is you can sign an injury replacement rider. So NKI would be allowed.
-
I don't think there was any mud slinging,it was just people interpreting the rules differently, which is totally understandable with how the rules are written. Good to see another top rider back in the UK.Just waiting for NKI now please.
-
I think so.I had a feeling since last week that he may carry on if things outside the UK allowed.Who knows how long he can carry on for.Unsure when the Swedish league starts,or whether he has dropped a team.Guaranteed payment from Buster if he stays,or possible non payment from Sweden if he goes there.I know what i would choose. Taken from the Wolves website. King's Lynn are led by former Wolf and the Monmore Green track record holder Niels-Kristian Iversen - adding extra spice to what already promises to be a tasty first league fixture in the Black Country.
-
R/R is a facility isn't it? Didn't Ipswich use their no8 last night instead of their other reserve. They didn't use him for the rising star who was absent.
-
Listening to Alex Brady the other week it seems he was refusing to ride,it just so happens he has gone and injured himself again now anyway. R/R will be permitted, but i still think we won't have to use it.Fikngers crossed of course.
-
The riders averages should remain the same until the end of May shouldn't they?So Zagar would fit anyway after you have completed 25% of the league meetings on May 19th.
-
We will have to wait and see i suppose
-
As Daniel Smith said,we would get a facility anyway. As it seems he is refusing to ride and as he don't ride for another club in this country that wouldn't bother him anyway. We should be through 25% of our matches anyway in the next 20 days(weather permitting),would Kildemand be back from his broken bones by then, doubt it.So we would be able to have the temporary injury signing again which would then take us over the 25% of PL matches permitted before we can make changes.
-
Why would the potential signing of Zagar for Belle Vue have any bearing on the Lynn replacement.Lynn's replacement would be through an injury
-
What about Iversen with Iversen
-
I'm unsure on the rule tbh.But if it is breaking the rule you can't just throw the toys out of the pram and well we will pull out of the league then.
-
Excellent from our reserves going by the updates.Looks like we carried Lawson and Pickering a bit tonight, but still got the win. I'm like you Speedball not getting carried away atm, only with watching Pickering i am a bit. Can't believe we have doubled our wins already from last season, that's a positive straight away.
-
Think Ipswich are in a much better position tonight than they were on Monday night. They have Riss and Heeps back so this is their normal 1-5,plus they have Shanes in for an out of form Rowe.So they are then missing Starke which will be a miss to the score chart you would think. But they are replacing him with Hume who many fans thought should have been given a chance instead of having a guest on Monday. So now he is being given his chance.
-
Most certainly, going from the 3 excellent meetings he has had for Lynn so far this season.Certainly not afraid to mix it as proved with Doyle on Monday.
-
So as Kildemand is injured,Lynn can take Zagar from under Belle Vue's nose Think Lynn are sorted anyway

King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 25/4/22
tellboy replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Still missing my point i think.Whilst i said speedway is mainly a points game,it's also about entertainment.I also said i would take Pickering on a 9,even though he probably wouldn't maintain that average his entertainment and everything that goes with him atm is worth it.Of course it's always nice to win,but the people i have spoke to after our home meetings haven't mentioned the wins just the about the great rides Pickering has had.As i said in a previous post too,atm newcomers to the sport want to see great racing they are not necessarily concerned with wins atm.Pickering is probably the main reason why the newcomers around me have come back again. It's hard to get kids of 14/15 out to speedway now but they have come back for more. If i was Sheffield i would have took Pickering over Ellis for the reason Sheffield would have still been the team to beat.Plus they would have one brilliant entertainer in their team. That's a brilliant recipe for getting people back. -

I would like to think we will be at for strength on Monday.Only concern for me is it will be Pickering's first visit to Monmore.Hopefully he will realise quite quickly that the track isn't quite the same shape as Lynn's
