Peterborough Panthers 2020
scoobydoo replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Its strange that theres not that much real difference in Palm Toft's average to that of Charles Wright, yet its assumed that Wright is looked upon as the better prospect and rider, if Wright was included in the Peterborough team would it really make the side stronger than having MPT in going on the slight difference of there averages. -

A decent looking team with Hans starting at reserve is an expensive team so that wont happen -

There is to Buster, he keeps a rider happy he couldn't fit in at Lynn and then in January he can move him to Ipswich without to much hassle. -

The first question in the xmas quiz should be, who do you think is Peterborough's first signing for 2020, it will ensure most quizzers dont get 100% of the questions correct -

Many people would say there are times MPT doesn't turn up but understand what your saying about Tungate, think MPT will be at Lynn, as for Tungate he will struggle to get another team spot if Peterborough dont want him so he needs to lower his valuation of himself and show a bit more commitment to the Panthers, -
Not now since Mario Jirout nicked all the balls.

Iversen rumoured to be at Peterborough in 2020

You probably said it in a round about sort of way -
In Peterboroughs case they should of returned to the Championship there just the whipping boys of the premiership now and attracting a number 1 is not the promotions main objective its to applease the tv contract all they want is to just sign anyone that others mostly dont want or need this season and hope they will ride for the money on offer,

Pedersen was especially friendly with Troy Batchelor they just got on so well riding in the same team, just a shame Nicki didn't realise they were actually team mates at the time

Did he come out the back of Denzils lorry !!!!

If riders continue to take that sort of approch then its no wonder tracks run at big losses, teams that can throw money at riders force the ones that struggle to stay competitive to overstretch themselves and eventually go under owing money they havnt got. Tungate isnt a sort after rider and has only a few options best he stays home if he takes this attitude. -

Its amazing how a rider thinks hes worth more to a club even though his average has dropped and it wasnt because of any manipulation. -

Believe that Pedersens last team in the UK was Peterborough in 2011 he didnt exactly live up his billing then and was eventually dropped for Hans Andersen to return.

All the signs were there during the last few Peterborough matches of the season that Charles Wright was going to move on again, he does tend to not stay with any club that long before seeking pastures new, now hes British Champion expect his wage demands have gone up which counts Peterborough out straight away. -

Peterborough fans should be more cautious from now on and not buy one until they know the seven riders who will actually be riding at the first meeting. -

Dont need to its odds on the Panthers team will be built on a very tight budget again and that just doesn't get you a competitive team. Hope that its not the case but somehow think this seasons experiences will be continued. -

Think any betting man or woman would put there cash on back to back wooden spoons for the Panthers.
