Suddenly two guys would be out of 2026 through a matter of timing. Admittedly, most of the time those WC's would end up going to the Huckenbeck's & Kvech's of this world but it helps prevent the above, or Zmarzlik being out of the 2026 & 27 World Championship if he get's carted into in an Extraliga meeting in May next year and is out for 2026.

Bartosz as much the winner last night as Vaculik. 3 points separating the other 3 in the final and a win for any of them puts Bartosz under pressure. Cue Vaculik who is a further 12 points back winning. I think this shows in a World Final era, Bartosz may well not have as many world titles but his consistency is just way out above his competitors in this era. Lamberts's 3 in Gorzow and Freddie's 3 in Landshut are both killers in terms of a championship challenge.

Always thought it was a shame, especially in the era when there was no World Cup or Pairs (SON), that Lindback never declared for Brazil.
