Im not sure i would agree with that. Yes most kids nowadays are strapped to their ipads and mobile phone but speedway does not promote its self enough.

Perhaps they should get people to hold up plaquards with applause and cheer.. That might do it..

Mate, you can chuck as much money as you want at it. But it will be ok for half a dozen meetings, then you will be back to square one. It needs levelling after every season. Simple as that. And the sooner we stop ripping up the starts the better. And yes the one thing you are right about is this time of year you run it slick. Then we have the water table which affects the track. But again, before the Darcy meeting and P&P day we had so much rain. But as you appear to be a track expert perhaps you can come down and sort it... Not.. Give Gerrald a ring..
