  1. My names not Steve, but i would take Lynn. IF, we finished top.
  2. Refeing to Piinys post which you replied to, whats done is done. We look forward now, not back.
  3. Dan had a good meeting by the looks of it, but he has not got the experience when the presure is on like that. Yes had you been winning well then it would make sense to put him in and give him that bit more experience but he's a young lad who has had a hard meeting, and you have two vastly more experienced riders who have both scored well who will have been better equiped to handle that presure. Its a hard decision, but one i would have thought Lemo would have made which could, have won you the meeting. which i have already said in another post. Fricke and Tungate. Same is if you have a guest riding for you, he scores well, but you have two of your own side who have scored equally as well, who do you put in if it came to the crunch like the other night ? Your own riders.. Now none of you will agree im very sure... My opinion.
  4. Yup everybody is entitled to there opinion as i said, But i would have gone with Tungate and Fricke..
  5. I did say on here in reply to Phil the Aces post that it would be a lot closer than at our place.. No suprise to me. Now some might say im barking up the wrong tree, but i wouldnt have put Bewley in ht 15. I would have put fricke in. my opinion.
  6. Nevermind mate, you'l get over it, eventually. You go and get Lubricated..
  7. Wow, do you know mate. You wait untill October, you can treble that and it will still be going at Christmas... Er, maybe next March
  8. Very good of them, but if your looking for bites mate your in the wrong Swim and using the wrong bait.. Perhaps you should move.
  9. What you failed to mention though was the play off's weather permitting bring in clubs biggest crowds of the season, so they clearly do work. Problem is, enticing people through the gate for the rest of it.
  10. On paper it was the strongest looking side for a few years, but as you know, it doesnt always work out, hence changes have to be made. And if they do, Matt will make them.
  11. CH Chris Holder Chris Harris. Please dont abrieviate. Write who you mean. If that was me there would be 500 pages of what a prat.
  12. As i said, we cant do it for everybody. Please, please, read the posts..
  13. Bars back wheel foot rest mudguards chain sprokets. As i said, you cannot do it for everybody. Maybe we are being Generous, {good horse that,} because its the first time that Bomber has actually signed to ride for us and he's making himself popular with the club and fans. Chris Holder or ar you talking about C Harris ? Yes he would have got his share anyway, but im sure it will be brought forward. Please dont abrieviate..
  14. Could be a bit closer than it was at our place mate, if they all turned up. Play off's starting to hot up now, both clubs need the points.
  15. As i said on here, but as expected i got a barage of abuse, our bad crowds are better than the majorities good crowds, so something clearlyy amiss elsewhere dont you think ? Then you are bound to disagree with me. Its the nature of the poole beast.. Last week the racing was pretty good the atmosphere was superb the cameradery in the pits was very good, when things are right we have the best club in the country by a million miles. Even we cant be brilliant, all the time..
  16. But in the long run he will be worth it. Matt really rates him.
  17. We still have a lot of good loyal sponsors. And although our crowds have been a bit down in comparison we still have a very big fan base, even without the holiday trade. Thing is like all clubs, cost is not doing speedway any favours, and not like years ago people have to pick and choose there meetings. But proof is in the pudding, you bring in a decent rider like Chris who will give his all and is a racer crowds will come. But Poland is killing things over here, and riders have to be realistic.
  18. Yes it does have to get approved from the Ivory Tower as you put it. But sadly you cannot do it for everybody, its just not posible. For example, the injured Jockeys fund does it for all jocks who are either injured or have to retire from race riding due to an injury i have a mate who had to retire from the saddle, benifited from it and is now a surveyor. In which Oaksey house also helps with there re- abillitation. They are a big body, we are just a small club in the great scheme of things. And thats why the Ben fund is also a very good thing. Edit, ive just seen the last post of yours, thats good to hear.
