I can't see how Worky can complete the season now. If they got to the finals of all the competitions they would have three play-off home matches, two KO Cup home matches, two League Cup home matches and the outstanding home match v Berwick in the league to race - that's EIGHT home matches to run in October!
Re Wells - I'm sure he doesn't only do it at ipswich - does he?
Re Bunyan - But he's a GP rider so he can't be that reckless - can he?
What about Birks?
Down the years, going right back to 1995, I've never understood why Sky don't show this meeting as part of their GP coverage.
Having seen videos and DVD's of the GP Challenges down the years there have been some very good ones with plenty of incident that would have made great viewing.
I suppose if they didn't take the chance to cover last year's event from Coventry then they'll never do it. Shame though!
A simply awesome evening from every aspect!
Well done to Rob and the boys - what a great effort, great racing, great entertainment. National pride fully restored I'd say.
I just about lost my voice from shouting at the TV - Fantastic!
I hear that this Saturday afternoon sees the third round of the 2010 British Under-15 Championship taking place at Northside in Workington, starting at 3 o'clock.
The last three years it has been there have been really good. Does anybody have any more info about line-ups or how many races there will be?
I assume that there will be 500cc and 250cc again but I have been told that there will also be a new 125cc class as well.
Looking forward to it again this year, then over to Derwent Park to see the Comets take on Somerset at 7 o'clock.
Yes, Peter Collins was on the show as has been mentioned earlier, but I seem to remember Jan Staechmann also being on the show with his Telford ice bike as well some time after PC's appearance.
