The night he said to Nicki Pedersen 'You're not going there old chap' (or words to that effect I would imagine!) on the Monmore back straight PK was assured of legendary status.
Reasonable folks by and large who, historically don't hold back from criticising our promotion, track and riders when it's necessary.
Now there's a novel attitude
I know, let's just close all of the small tracks then we can watch riders going at full chat not having to worry about turning the bike. And for the record I love the NSS
Fricke, by his own admission, doesn't like Monmore. He is progressing nicely, uses his brain and his throttle wisely, and didn't end up on his ar$e. Wednesday will be a thriller, Thorsell's participation notwithstanding.
COYW.
In Shropshire. The weather was coming from the west and the fine rain stopped a couple of hours ago. Now overcast, not a breath of wind but very humid.
Loram, if memory serves, won his world title without winning any of the rounds outright, the only time that's happened. He was consistent and seized his opportunity. His next best SGP finish was 5th.
Sorry to intrude but for what it's worth I reckon Lambert is another Loram/Havelock. When the cards fall his way he'll have his day in the sun. He could be so much better than that.
Personally, and I guess there'll be fellow Wolfs who disagree, I'd let BV have a guest or RR as they please if Bjerre can't ride. But as has been mentioned above that would drive a coach and horses through the 'rules', such as they are.
That would make a pleasant change from the 'win at all costs' mob.
And to top it all off this from the OS. No mention of 'I won't be at Somerset'. A bit of honesty with the fans wouldn't go amiss.
