  1. Good question. I don't recall it which in all probability means they did
  2. Oh I don't know. If CVS can get him reassessed at 2.32!
  3. CVS on Howe's comeback. '..............................and we very much hope he's successful in his comeback'. Translated means 'Someone sign him, that'd be an unexpected loan fee, luvvly jubbly'.
  4. He couldn't have gone to the crapper in the UK either, no one said he was banned from having a $hit.
  5. Masters was refused a visa and therefore entry into the UK. The 'ban' if one wishes to name it that, was from entering the country, the fact is he couldn't race speedway, or do anything else, in the UK at the time. Here's a ban: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/other-sports/speedway-drug-ban-for-bulldog-bird-473656
  6. I was using the Les Collins analogy as someone who would earn a good living from the sport at his level. I forgot about his world champ runner up
  7. Masters, with a fair wind and a lot of luck could be the next big thing for Australia. Lawson is the next Les Collins.
  8. I saw you many times having a whale of a time trying to explain the meaning of life to the locals
  9. The biter bit. Personally, I loved going to the Dudley Wood Sports Complex.
  10. Oh dear, we really have got one here.
  11. Gundersen was a gater without question. The reason he didn't execute many passes was that invariably he was in front. However when he did miss the traps you had the feeling that he wasn't sure what to do, a bit like Correy around the outside I guess. Remember Erik's favourite score in the Olympique? 3,0,3.0.3 Now Jan O Pedersen was the polar opposite. Couldn't gate for toffee but executed some of the best passes I think I've ever seen. I was as happy the day he won the World Title as I was when Sam won his
  12. In on a 2.00 instead of Nathan?! http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31732 That'll do for The Brum.
  13. Are we 'weak' at reserve? Of course we are. I keep hearing on here that with the race format change that reserves may not be as important as they were in 2016.If that proves not to be the case what we won't be able to handle in 2017, is any of the 1-5 having an off night as Max won't, in my opinion, be able to fill that requirement on the current available evidence. To depend on him 'taking a step forward' to be capable of replacing an underperforming 1-5 rider sounds a risky plan to me and will put unecessary pressure on him.
  14. Sam may not be the best person to give him advice on that one
  15. It's likely to be rider hokey cokey with all of the 2 pointers despite what the promoters who have them in their sides say now.
  16. That's a great idea, if you trial it yourself the rest of us will keep an eye out to see how you get on.
  17. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone. COYW.
  18. Steve is from the Arsene Wenger school. When you win emphasise how good you are but when you lose try to deflect by attacking others.
  19. And neither will anyone else, including Poole.
  20. Clegg will know that 2017 has got to be his break out year. Hopefully he's not daft enough to come out with the 'I'll be World Champion' guff next season. He should be focussing on making a good living from speedway and best of luck to him. His target, imo, should be to progress past the likes of Sarj & Bates.
